Great room. Terrific breakfast. Friendly host.
We had a wonderful two days at the Market Street Inn B&B. Carol and her husband were both a delight to be around, as were the other guests!
My husband and I were in the Renaissance Room which was beautiful (and quite large!). We enjoyed the roof top deck right off our room as well (and the parlor late at night).
Breakfasts were both yummy!
We will return!
The Market Street Inn has beautiful rooms with everything you need. I appreciated Carol's hospitality and she has made the Inn a comfortable and inviting place to stay.
Such a fun stay! Excellent hosts who provided not only yummy food, but also great recommendations for places to see and how to get to them. Our rooms were lovely, clean and chic. Definitely a place to go back to the next time we're in the Louisville area.
We had such a wonderful time staying at the Market Street Inn - super close to downtown Louisville and the airport. A pedestrian bridge (almost finished) will soon be connecting Jeffersonville area with Louisville. The Inn was beautifully decorated and very clean. The neighborhood is up and coming but safe and clean. Carol and Steve were welcoming, gracious hosts who made our trip even better - when the bike rental place was out of rentals, Steve offered to let us borrow his bikes and helped us plan our bike path.
Can't wait to go back!
The Market Street Inn was wonderful. Carol was a great host that cooked up whatever we wanted for breakfast to get us on our way out to explore Jeffersonville (have to go to Schimpff's Confectionery) and Louisville (Market Street and Crazy Daisy).
The location worked very well. It was easy to get across the river to Louisville while also having the experience of a quiet and quaint street and town.
Make sure to ask about the story of the building and how it came to be such a beautiful B&B. The room and bathroom were very clean and the entire house was charming.
I've stayed at the Market Street Inn for three nights while traveling for work and this place is an absolute gem. Carol and Steve are the nicest hosts. Breakfast is delicious and the room is very clean and comfortable. The house is located in a quiet and safe street right across the river from downtown Louisville. Highly recommended!
This is a lovely place in an historical neighborhood. The bed was comfortable, the room quiet, the breakfast tasty!
Carol and Steve were kind and thoughful hosts, and Steve even woke up at the crack of dawn (5am!) to make me coffee, as I had an early flight out.
If you stay, try the scones--they're delicious!
We enjoyed our stay a lot! The room was beautiful, the breakfast awesome and the hosts were super nice. There is no better place in Louisville/Jeffersonville to stay. The Market Street Inn made our time in KY very special!
This place is a gem. The house is beautifully restored and is close to restaurants and downtown Louisville. Carol and steve are amazing hosts. I would thoroughly recommend this place.
