A tiny but cute apartment located in Porta Romana, a historical monument and one of the symbols of the city.
A tiny apartment inside one of the most important city monuments Porta Romana.
It is a former city gate and in it's present form dates back to 1794, its origins, anyway, can be traced further back to the Roman walls of the city. The Ancient Appian Way

Ho affittato il monolocale per una coppia di amici venuti per il mio matrimonio a Gennaio. Il monolocale era ben riscaldato, piccolino ma perfetto per una coppia. L'arredamento molto curato e particolare. Molto romantico!
Natalia is a caring host. The studio is tiny but well furnished, in a optimal location in the old city. The room is quite moist and there is only one small window, but is perfect for short stay.
Finally, I recommend it!
Stayed in tiny house in Porta Romana for 6 days. Apartments in the heart of the ancient city Terracina! 5 minutes walk from the station, 10 to the sea through the incredibly beautiful old streets of Terracina. Very comfortable apartment with everything needed for a comfortable stay! Natalia and her husband are lovely and attentive hosts! Helped throughout rest tips and worried about my comfort!
Magical place Terracina+comfortable apartments+caring and hospitable hosts=amazing holiday!!!
We spent a night at this flat on our way to Napoli. The flat was perfect for our short stay. Easy to find (it's within one of the gates of the city), it's got all the accommodation we needed. The flat is quite exceptional as it's part of Porta Romana. Natalia welcomed us warmly, even if we were late. She explained to us the best places to visit in Terracina. Thanks to her advices we had a great stay, we saw some interesting historical places and had great seafood !
We have been at Natalias flat for four days- and we really enjoyed all of them. Of course, the room is small and on day its getting hot in it - but this little things aren't important cause of the fantastic location directly in the historical Center of Terrachina and the friendly and open- hearted host Natalia. She contacted us before our trip, prefered everything for us, explained everything. She welcomed us with opened arms and gave a first impression of Terracina that we' ve been possible to find the sea, beach, centrer easily. She was there for us when we had questions . We loved our simple and small, but clean and perfect located place and we are happy to met Natalia. All in all this was a fantastic journey in a charming city with a more than friendly and helpfull host. Thanks for everything and hope we will meet again one day! Sascha & Lisa
We (2 girls) stayed here for 5 nights as part of our italy trip and although listed as tiny, the apartment is perfectly formed, we loved it!! The sofa bed was a decent size and comfortable, the shower was hot and powerful and the fridge was invaluable!! Natalia's eye for detail is impeccable.
Situated at within the old city wall, the apartment was the perfect base for exploring, a 2 minute walk into the old town and a 10 minute walk from the beach.
Natalia was simply brilliant!! She helped us plan which train to catch for our arrival and even took us to station on our return journey. She was very knowledgable and passionate about Terracina (which is a charming place) and provided us with lots of useful information. We were left to our devices during our stay, but knew if we needed anything she was only a message or phone call away!!
We would highly recommending staying here if you are ever in Terracina!!

I am a Russian journalist married to an Italian. I have been living for over 4 years in Italy. I have travelled a lot in Italy mostly for my job and I got lucky to see some of the most beautiful places. Yet I am totally in love with Terracina and it might not be the perfect place in terms of public services and commercial structures it might not have the glow of luxury but it certainly has the stunning nature beauty, the charm of authentic Mediterranean life, rich ancient history, long seaside walks (more than 3 km) pleasant in winter time as well, breathtaking views, agricultural products at 0 km and many other things that can't be recreated by man. If your happiness lies in Simplicity you will most probably fall in love with this place. And we do try our best to make your stay as accommodating and pleasant as we can.
