A perfect luxury home for a family vacation or a business trip. Experience European style blended with American sensibility in one of the most beautiful cities in the world!

Our home is a 3rd floor 1909 Edwardian condo in a 3 unit building located at the highest point of the highest hill in the area. It is a wonderful, light-filled 4 bedrooms / 2 baths penthouse with views from every window, original details including wainscoting, high coved and boxbeam ceilings, and tastefully remodeled kitchen & baths.

This a beautiful, spacious bedroom with full private en suite bath and stunning bay and city views from the 3 large bay windows. It is private and quiet, with wonderful eastern morning light. It includes a double bed with plush mattress & box spring, soft sheets & towels in pleasant pastel colors, white Berber carpet, spacious period dresser with hanging space for your belongings, and a desk and chair to work inspiringly.

The private en suite bathroom includes Grohe rainshower and handheld showerhead, shower robe, and hairdryer.

Similar views as above, with a queen sized memory foam mattress, desk, dresser and a generous sized closet.

Beautiful room with bay windows and a perfect view of the famous San Francisco twin peaks. Twin-sized bunk beds, kids desks, dresser and a large closet.

Small room with a single bed and a closet.

A spacious room with working fire place, a large screen TV, pocket doors and an amazing view of the famous San Francisco fog rolling in over Twin Peaks. There is a comfortable sofa that quickly converts into a queen sized bed if you need extra space - turning the room into a bedroom.

Aside from the bathroom attached to Bedroom 1, there is another large bathroom with a tub, shower, sink and a toilet that is way out of the ordinary. It has a state of the art remote controlled Japanese bidet that takes the mundane job of wiping private parts to a new level of push-button convenience and, may we say, pleasure. Has to be experienced to be believed. :)

Centrally located in the house, the dining room also has a beautiful view of Bernal Hill and an extendable dining table where up to 10 people can eat comfortably.

Our Chef's Kitchen has all the amenities: gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, double sink with “hotshot” instant hot-water for tea, a coffee maker, blender, rice cooker and cooking and serving utensils. And has a gorgeous view as well.

Adjacent to the kitchen is the laundry room with high efficiency washer & dryer available for your use.

Note: There is no elevator in the building.

Experience the best of San Francisco! Our home is on the best block of palm-tree lined Dolores Street, bordering the cute 24th Street shopping area of Noe Valley, and the dynamic Mission district. Quaint cafes, trendy restaurants & bars, hot exercise studios, a Whole Foods, modern boutiques, as well as transport to downtown and the tourist attractions - all are a short, easy walk away.

We are an easy 2-block walk to the J-Church (24th Street stop), 4-block walk to the BART (24th Mission stop), and 1/2 block to the 48 MUNI (24th Street at Dolores). Taxis and Uber / Lyft are easy as well.

Street parking is free and usually readily available on our block or within a few blocks. Please note that this is San Francisco - it can be a challenge finding parking at night or during events.

Rental cars are a short BART or MUNI ride away, and car-sharing services have nice cars available in our neighborhood. If you are planning to not travel too far from the area, then we would recommend that you not rent a car - it's not needed!

The neighborhood

Our house is exactly between Noe Valley and the Mission - so you get the best of both worlds!

Noe Valley is the best neighborhood in San Francisco, central to everything, very kid/family friendly, beautiful, safe and clean. Two blocks away is 24th Street - a wonderful shopping street with friendly local stores and restaurants - perfect for a stroll anytime of day or night, brunch or quick shopping sojourn. The well stocked Whole Foods Market is perfect for buying groceries or prepared delicious organic food you can bring home.

Pro-tip: There is a Farmers Market on Saturday mornings across from Martha Bros coffee shop. A must visit if you can to catch the local scene.

The Mission is quite the opposite - a dynamic, vibrant and ever evolving part of San Francisco shaped by new immigrants into the city. It is full of restaurants, bars and clubs of every nature, fitting every budget. From the most delicious burrito you have ever had (Taqueria Cancun - our favorite joint) for $7 to legendary high end restaurants booked months in advance to famous salsa clubs, top-rated bars and a bakery that has a line around the block most mornings - the Mission has something for everyone!

We recommend that you be aware of your surroundings and be safe at all times - the Mission can be gritty!

Let us know anytime you need suggestions/recommendations - there isn't an restaurant, club or bar we haven't checked out in Noe or the Mission!

Getting around

We are in the perfect location! 1/2 block from the MUNI 48, 2 blocks from the MUNI J-Church, and 4 uphill blocks from BART. Uber, Lyft, and taxis all show up quickly to our home; and car sharing with GetAround, City Carshare, RelayRides, and Zipcar are all nearby as well.

Kate and Yogesh were responsive and helpful. The house is lovely and has *AMAZING* views on both sides of the home. Watching the sunrise from the bedroom was beautiful. Everything we needed was available, instructions were clear, and we had no problems. I'm definitely adding this as a favorite location for next time I'm in the area.

Kate and Yogesh were great communicators and provided detailed information about the house which made check-in/out smooth and easy, although it's good to note the lock on the door is pretty old so it takes a bit of while to open it. The house is located in a lovely location, walking distance to Dolores Park and the amazing Tartine Bakery! We did find that some deep cleaning could be made to get rid of the slight smell in the house and the linens/carpets.

Kate & Yogesh User Profile

We are an Indian-American family with 2 wonderful boys. This is our San Francisco home where, when we are traveling for business or personal reasons, we love having people from all over the world stay and enjoy our home, our neighborhood and our city!

We love traveling all over the world, enjoy walking through interesting neighborhoods, meeting people from all over the world and absorbing different cultures and lifestyles.

We love to cook and entertain. Yogesh speaks Hindi, English, and Punjabi, and is always working on the next big thing. Kate is actually changing the world by working in the renewable energy industry and supporting local community causes and public schools.

We are respectful, understanding and helpful. When you stay in our home, you are like family. Everything else then just follows from there.
