The area is full of fantastic historic sites, including the city of Avignon, the medieval duchy of Uzes, the roman towns of Nimes and Arles, the UNESCO "World Heritages" locations of Carcassonne and the Pont du Gard, and a number of other charming villages.
From April to March, our gites are rented weekly from Saturday to Saturday. the rest of the year arrival and departure day are free.
Words alone cannot express how perfect Domaine de Monteils is. Richard & Frédéric were gracious hosts who went the extra mile to recommend day trips, make dinner reservations in the area and leave champagne and fresh picked flowers for us upon arrival (we were on our honeymoon). Then you have the Domaine itself which is a true paradise of relaxation, well kept grounds and beautifully renovated villas. If you do make a trip into one of the nearby towns, be sure to visit Sauve, a charming, artsy, fairty tale Medieval town about 10km away. While in Sauve walk the twisty hillside streets all the way up to the top and be sure to have dinner at La Tour de Mole (recommended by Richard & Fred), which was hands down the best culinary experience we had on our two-week honeymoon in France & Spain.

About the Host, Richard & Frédéric
We're very cool, young minded, and we always do everything we can to provide the perfect welcome for our guests. Renting luxury holiday suites was obviously our vocation: We're fascinated by design and decoration, we like to see our guests fell well at our place and we like meeting different people from any horizons.
