"La Casetta" is one of the few property with private access to the sea. Living on the patio will give you the impression of standing on the deck of your own ship and if you like swimming, you can walk for few steps and reach the sea without stress.

The Space

La Casetta is a studio of 25 square meters which can accommodate up to 2 people and has a large garden full of flowers and a patio with panoramic views to the exclusive use of guests.
La Casetta has a comfortable sofa bed, a bathroom with shower, a kitchen and plenty of open space. The furnishings are cozy and the apartment is equipped with satellite TV and radio CD stereo, security box.
The kitchen, which overlooks the living room, is equipped with a gas stove with four burners, a refrigerator, a Nespresso coffee machine and a range of other small appliances.

The house offers convenient amenities such as a private terrace on the sea (see photos) and private access to the sea. The property is located in a sunny place and offers peace of mind.
The attraction of the house is without a doubt the patio overlooking the Marina Lobra,in the fantastic setting of the protected marine reserve 'Punta Campanella. This beautiful natural setting offers views and breathtaking sunsets over the islands of Ischia and Procida, the Vesuvius and the rock Vervece.
A few meters from the residence lies the charming marina Massalubrense (Marina Lobra), where you can book tours by boat to Capri, Amalfi and Positano, rent boats with or without crew, enjoy the culinary delights of Sorrento and enjoy the pleasant atmosphere of the fishing village.
The latter is provided with quaint restaurants, tobacconist/littlemarket,bars, diving center and disco nearby.
Massalubrense is in a strategic position to reach many places of interest: Sorrento, Amalfi and Positano are a few kilometers, Capri, Ischia and Procida easily reached by hydrofoil from Sorrento.
Pompeii, Herculaneum and Vesuvius are suggestive and connected perfectly with The Circumvesuviana train from Sorrento.
Sorrento is only 6 km. (10 minutes by car)
Positano 12 km

Access to the property is via private stairs from the rpublic way. The garden is not suitable for children. No pets allowed.
Parking is on the municipal road and is on charge.

How to reach the residence of Naples:
BY CAR: Motorway A3 exit Castellammare di Stabia, go to Sorrento and then to Massalubrense. From Massalubrense head for the port of Marina Lobra.
BY TRAIN: From the station of Piazza Garibaldi (the basement of the Central Station) take the train called Circumvesuviana train to Sorrento. Continue by bus (lines
Sita bus or Eav) to Massalubrense center and then head for the port of Marina Lobra.

The price includes the use of the patio, the use of the terrace overlooking the sea with two beds and an umbrella, the bed linen for the kitchen and bathroom, wireless internet, water, electricity and gas, barbecue, Nespresso, tv. satellite, security box, mobile phone with Italian Sim (consumption fee).

IN THE MONTHS OF JULY AND AUGUST MINIMUM STAY IS 5 DAYS.

Guest Access

My guests will have access to the patio, that is for their exclusive use. The patio is furnished with a table with four chairs, two sofas and the relax corner with two sunbeds and an hammok.
The terrace on the sea will be shared with the owners. It is strictly forbidden to smoke inside of the casetta.Angle relaxation leads to another covered patio with table and four comfortable chairs. The terrace on the sea is shared with the owners.

Interaction with Guests

We try our best to let our guests feel like they are in their own house. This always with the maximum discretion and without being nosy; if they want, we are always ready and happy to help them with their questions. We are always at the property the first two days of the stay, then we go back to our home in Naples. Anyway, our absences are quite short .

The Neighborhood

If you are lucky, you 'll see the dolphins swim in the bay.

  • We loved our stay at La Casetta! Book it you will not be sorry! Tiziana is a wonderful generous host. We were welcomed with fresh fruit, drinks and breakfast provisions to this small well equipped apartment. This type of experience is what I imagined the Airbnb ethos would be all about! We felt like valued guests. The pick up from busy Sorrento train station was great, as were the ample instructions, public timetables and information concerning local attractions ect., if only we had had more time to enjoy the patio, garden,BBQ and sun beds with a view to die for! A perfect place fork a private cooling swim after a busy day at Pompeii or busy Naples. Thank you we hope one day to be back!

  • People always have reasonable doubts when travelling, weather the photographs have shown the reality or not. In Tiziana's case, the reality is even more beautiful than the photographs. You instantly get carried away by the view, the sea and the people - both your hosts and the citizens - when you arrive and that deep affection for Massa Lubrense and its sorroundings just srengthens with time. I daresay that i have never felt souch harmony that i felt there. It was a truly inspiring, fulfilling and beautiful journey for me that will last forever. Or at least until the next time i visit them. Because i surely will! So thank you again Tiziana and Ciro! And thank you Mssa Lubrense, Sorrento and Capri for existing :)

  • If there was a word that could describe our holidays in La Casetta, that would be wonderful. The studio is charming, you have basically everything that you can need, it is very clean and comfortable (the bed is good). However, we spent most of our time outside on the beautiful patio. Indeed, the view is just as it is in the pictures or I would say even better !!! Massalubrense is a small village, we were there in June but we haven't seen a lot of tourists, it is very quiet. But, you can find everything you need without going out of the village. There are two nice restaurants on the harbour, a very nice bar (Angelo's Bar) small shops...Tiziana and Ciro are amazing hosts ! They are lovely people, always there to help you if you need to and I recommend staying at La Casetta.
The only thing that needs to be clear for those who want to spend a few days in this place is that there are a lot of steps to access the house so if you can't handle them then don't go to La Casetta.

To sum up : do not hesitate to go there, my boyfriend and I will definitely come back if we have the chance to do it!

  • Our Stay at La Casetta was wonderful. Beautiful terrace and garden for sunbathing, eating and taking in the fantastic view. Marina della Lobra is a very pretty little harbour hidden away from all the hustle and hectic associated with the Gulf of Naples. Tiziana was a very kind and warm hearted host who made our stay La Casetta very special.

  • A beautiful location with wonderful views and very generous hosts. So pleased we stayed by the sea rather than in Sorrento. We had a very relaxed time. A visit to Angelo's bar, 200 metres away, is a must.

  • We had a wonderful time at La Casetta! The place is just as beautiful as the pictures suggest. There is plenty of space to relax on the terraces with their magnificent views of the islands Ischia, Procida and the Gulf of Naples. The apartment itself was the best equipped we have ever found, decorated with love and care. Tiziana and Ciro are the most welcoming hosts you can think of! They recommended us walking tours, good shops and restaurants and even showed us how to cook spaghetti con vongole e lupini! We would really love to come back!

  • We had a lovely week in this charmingly cosy, seaside apartment despite some temperamental October weather! The location is idyllic with access to a quiet swimming spot in the beautifully clear sea just down some private steps from the apartment doorstep.

We sunbathed on their large roof terrace, which has amazing views across the bay and fell in love with the small fishing village of Masse Lubrense, less than 5 minutes walk away with two good restaurants and a small food shop. The owners - Tiziana and her husband were very sweet, friendly and helpful.

The location is absolutely perfect for day trips to Sorrento, Mt Vesuvius, Pompeii, Naples, Positano, Ravello and Capri - all of which we did in just 5 days! I would thoroughly recommend driving the Amalfi coastal road and stopping to have a walk around Positano and then on to Ravello - both magical places quite unlike anywhere we've been before! We hired a small boat from a man named Luigi in Massa Lubrense for 60€ and took it over to Capri for the day which was fun although Capri was a little over crowded with tourists so we didn't stay for long.

We felt the only drawback was no allocated parking space which could become a hassle in the busier summer months. We found a (rare) free space just down the road under some trees, but otherwise would have had to pay 8€ a day in the nearby car park at the top of the property, starting from 8am every day.

Also, due to fairly wet autumnal weather (quite unusual - October normally remains hot) the apartment became and remained rather damp meaning towels and swimming costumes didn't dry off, but I'm sure this wouldn't be a problem in the warmer summer months or could perhaps be helped by a dehumidifier.

  • Tiziana and Ciro were amazing and accommodating hosts, and we really enjoyed our stay in their cozy apartment. The apartment itself was very comfortable. It was very private, and with a very well-equipped kitchen. The view from the terrace could not have been better - the kind of environment one would normally pay a small fortune to have. We would absolutely stay with Tiziana again, and highly recommend it!

  • I adore this place! No! Actually we adore this place! I almost don't want to tell anyone else about it because I want to keep it as my little secret, is how much I like it. From the setting sun, which Tiziana hurried us to watch from the terrace, to the sound of lapping waves and the fishing boats getting ready for the morning or evening catch, to the smell of the flowers in the terraced garden...superb!!!

Tiziana had left fresh flowers on top of the towels in the bathroom, and fresh fruit, wine and olive oil from husband Ciro's pressing. SHe and her husband were attentive, but discrete. Ciro actually came to find us when were lost on arrival and helped with the translation to English. Tizana and her daughter brought Limonchello to toast my birthday on Wednesday...so wonderful.

What more can one say? We had access to 3 private terraces from morning to night, we had access direct onto the sea and swan 3 or 4 times a day and had views of Ischia to die for!

There is only one drawback, there are 120 steps from the apartment to the car park. I hope that puts you off going so that I won't have any problem rebooking for when I want to go. On the other hand if you descend those stairs you will experience magic and I/we want all the world to share that sublime experience.

  • Tiziana and Ciro were amazing hosts! They were extremely warm, welcoming, knowledgable and hospitable. Both the location and apartment were absolutely gorgeous! It was so wonderful, we found it very difficult to leave. We cannot wait to return and stay longer on our next visit. This place is an absolute must!!!!

About
