In fact, Rachel from California, my first guest's review got lost, but she said "The photos don't lie; this place is beautiful! My travel companions and I slept so well in this peaceful neighborhood that we jokingly called it "the napping house." The compact kitchenette is very well-equipped, and Marijane even delivered a chip clip within hours when we mentioned we didn't see one. We didn't try the stylish pink bathtub, but it's a fun addition to the antique furniture throughout."

Marijane was an excellent host! Responded very quickly to all of our questions both leading up to the time we were there, during the stay and even after to check and see if we had left some items in the house. She has a beautiful and unique space and our children loved it! The yard is large and the neighborhood in general was beautiful. We were strongly recommend her place to anyone.
Marijane's ballroom was a beautiful, peaceful escape in eagle creak. Very conviently located in a beautiful neighborhood. My family and I enjoyed the amazing decor and the lovely ambiance of the house. Marijane addressed all problems we had (which were very little) in a timely and commicative manner. Would love to visit again!
My two parents and my two children and I were visiting Indy where I grew up to see friends and family. We spend most our time and meals out but throughly enjoyed our time at Marijane's.
The kids and I shared the king room with the extra bed and my folks slept upstairs. The beds were VERY comfortable, the neighborhood nice and quiet. We slept beautifully! Plenty of extra bedding, pillows, etc.
The kitchen area and counter space is compact but the right size for making simple breakfast and lunch. Without 4yos around I could see making an elaborate meal, as it was, we were not quite organized to do that, and also wanted to dine with friends and family.
Clean as a whistle, well stocked with bedding + towels and top of the line kitchen knives and etc. A helpful binder with info about area attractions. Marijane herself was sweetly accommodating to our bizarre schedule, quick with answering questions, and nice to chat with when we ran into each other.
A nice big yard for the kids to run around in.
About a 5-10 minute drive to nearby Eagle Creek with outdoor activities and Cracker Barrel, one of my favorite hometown places to get breakfast! 20+ minutes to Broad Ripple (dinner + drinks) and the Children's Museum.
The description of Marijane's home was very detailed with lovely photos and was totally accurate. The neighborhood was quiet and lovely. The backyard was peaceful, quiet with a lovely cottage.
That was a great trip. Unfortunally we never meet us in Person due to the Convention, but every Contact via Mail was quick responsed and nice. The house is very good and we would try to stay there again. Thumbs up! Short sentence in German: nettes Haus, schneller und netter Kontakt, tolle Lage (15Min ins Zentrum von Indy) Ein Auto ist ein "Muss". In Summe Daumen hoch.
Marijane was a perfect host! I stayed here with 2 other co-workers for a conference downtown and it was very spacious for us and we had everything we needed. The kitchen is beautiful- unfortunately we didn't have enough time to use it! It was nice to be in a quiet, safe neighborhood but still close to downtown.
Had a very nice, relaxing time at Marijane's house! Had all the amenities we needed and was in a beautiful, peaceful neighborhood. Definitely a great place to stay if you like being outside of the city but still accessible.
