William kept in contact and provided a few extra things I needed--an iron and a hair dryer. The neighborhood is a leafy suburb about 12 miles from Louisville's city center.
I always endeavor to excel in service because one, i am working in the industry. Two, i put my myself in those situations i don't want to be and remedy it. I am the 40% of the Americans that don't sleep with a top sheet. The comforter or duvet are remove in view of the prevailing summer-like temperature. A/c kick in as soon it reaches 72 degrees in my home. There are intrinsic characters of the house that are in the 1970s as you discovered in your stay. But they are functional. I used it daily. Nothing are absolutely perfect. But I endeavor to check daily that things are in order and the the last I remember things were in good working order. The guides in my listings helps to understand the surroundings of the neighborhood and the charm it has. Familiarize it and you discover the gem it holds.
William was very accommodating. At all times he wanted to make sure I had everything I needed. Home is located close to downtown Louisville and convenient to most locations around Louisville. I would recommend it as a great place to stay. When I am back in town I will be using William's place.
William went above and beyond to make my stay in Louisville a comfortable trip. He was very generous with his movie collections and home space. The split level home has cozy areas to relax and unwind. Whether you're in town for business or pleasure this humble home in the suburb is worth checking out.
William was an excellent host. His hospitality is genuine and he made my stay a wonderful experience.
From the moment I arrived in Louisville, he made me feel like a friend. He made sure I had everything I needed, gave me valuable tips and advice about where and what to see in the City and texted me contact information if he was away or needed to be at work. We went out to dinner one night and talked on many occasions which made me feel really welcome and not just like an Airbnb customer staying a couple of nights.
His home was safe in a beautiful area of Louisville and I could have not asked for a nicer man. The room was large and the bed very comfortable. He purchased some things for breakfast and even made me a Thai pork noodle soup one night that was truly delicious.
This was my first trip to the Kentucky Derby and William made the trip incredible. A truly GREAT experience and a wonderful place to stay in Louisville !!!
William and his son were extremely friendly bent over backwards to make sure I had everything I needed. The house was in a very quiet neighborhood, ~25 minutes drive from downtown Louisville. Only problem was that the wifi didn't work most of the time I was there.
William is a kind and interested host and very concerned with making sure that his guests are happy.
