Venice is easily reachable. In front of our B & B is the bus stop which takes you 5 minutes to the train station of Mogliano Veneto,(every 10 minuts there is a train to Venice) in about 14 minutes you are in the heart of Venice
If you prefer we can take you a little extra to the city of Venice in about 15 minutes.
The family of B&B Villa Daniela is waiting!!
Beautiful and friendly people, very clean and comfortable home.I had no communication problem as I also speak Italian.Directions to the house were a little confusing due to roadworks in the are and the GPS system did not allow for this.
English written directions from the house to the train station for Venice were very minimal--I pointed this out to the hosts who (unable to read and write Englih) were not aware of the problem.
Overall 4.5 stars and higly recomended.
We had a good stay at this place. Camilla's parents were very nice and helpful. Bare in mind that if you do not know Italian you will find it hard to communicate with them but we spoke with Camilla on the phone and her brother Matteo was there who spoke very good English and was extremely helpful.
There are a few different rooms that they have so make sure you know which one you are getting. Our room was on the top floor and we had to climb a very narrow flight of steps to get there.
Finally, I would reccomend this place to anyone visiting Venezia and has a car, as Mogliano train station is about a 7 min drive, you can park your car for free 5 min walk from the station and get to Venezia in about 15 min for about 3-4 Euros each way.
This was a very poor choice for us and for anyone who does not have a car. The place is difficult to access Venice and you are limited to a last (email hidden) so you are stuck either paying alot for a taxi or having to head back very early. There is a language barrier so that is a challenge also and we were not accommodated with rides to help out. Breakfast is very minimal. The room w Overall, g
What a wonderful time we had, thanks to Camilla and her parents, Daniella and Gian-Marco! Such a lovely, friendly and accommodating couple! We got a little lost and Camilla came right to where we were and guided us to her parent's beautiful home! Everything was immaculate and so tastefully decorated and Daniella immediately offered us excellent coffee! Before too long, we were showing each other family photos and felt right at home. We were so impressed with the room with balcony and private bath and free WiFi came in handy staying in touch with family and friends back in the USA. We were also very appreciative of the room having air conditioning after hot days in Venice! Highly recommend!
The room was wonderful, just as advertised, and the hosts were wonderful people (We didn't get to meet Camilla, she was working, but her parents were very kind). Unfortunately, the language barrier made it very difficult to communicate. The B&B is also quite far from Venice. You must take a bus and a train to get to the city. As we couldn't converse with the hosts, it was very hard to figure out the bus system. It took us about an 1 1/2 hours each way to get to Venice.
I didn't know Camilla, but her parents are very good persons and nice, they were concerned all the time of us. The bedroom and the house are amazing. The house is not near of Venice, about 30 min , but is very easy to get from there. I totally recommend if you want to be in a quiet place after having walked all day.
Never met Camilla, she was working. Her parents are extremely nice but there is a huge language barrier that was hard to overcome. They were really helpful in anyway they could be and picked us up from the train station many times because we couldn't figure out the bus, or it was closed. Overall worth the money and really nice people.
We didn't meet Camila (she was working), but her parents were great! We felt that we were in our home. The room that we stayed is very big and comfortable, very quiet at night (we sleep like a baby!). The location is very good to go to Venice (just a take a train).
The breakfast is fantastic. Camila's mother makes a wonderful cappucino!!
Evereything was perfect! If we go back to Venice, we probably will stay there!
Wonderful place to stay for trips in to Venice. With a car, it is so easy to get in and back from Venice. Five minutes to the Mogliano train station and at the very most twenty minutes in to the Venice station. Parking at the train stop in Mogliano is free and never any reason to worry at all about leaving the car there, even until very late. The train runs back from Venice to Mogliano until just before midnight. When i stayed, i was met by the parents of Calandrini and they are VERY accommodating and kind. Mostly Italian speaking so it helps to know some Italian to get help with local information. The accommodations were generous in size. There was wifi available without a password throughout the home and it was just a gorgeous environment.
