Spacious one bed flat to yourself with a very large balcony, ideal for having breakfast on when it's warm and sunny.
Nestled between Stockwell, Clapham and Vauxhall, the area is relatively quiet with the small Larkhall Park a stone's throw, the larger Clapham Common a 15 minute walk and the beautiful Battersea Park with its large boating lake and unique p(website hidden) only 20 minutes walk. The area is largely residential with a small arcade of shops 2 minutes from the front door on the lively Wandsworth Road where a sizeable ex pat Portuguese community live.
Alternatively, the bustling and lively Clapham HIgh Street where there are restaurants, coffee shops, bars and nightclubs is only a 10 minute walk away. It's a good area to see how local Londoners live as is Brixton which is only a 20 minutes walk away.
Cricket enthusiasts will be happy to know the Oval cricket ground is but one stop away on the underground or a 25 minute walk. Equally, central London is within 20 minutes travel - Stockwell and Clapham High St tube stations only 10 minute walk.
I am the owner of the property and this is my home. The price is all inclusive: cable TV, DVD, towels and so on.

The apartment is very pleasant and homely. I was surprised that it's well located between Stockwell & Clapham and is so quiet. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a well priced apartment in southern zone two.
We stayed for 3 weeks at the flat and found it very enjoyable and convenient. We arranged our arrival with Chris, a friend of Nick, and he responded quickly every time we messaged him and provided a good tour of the place when we picked up the keys.
A 10-15 minute walk to the Northern tube line made getting to the centre of London very quick and easy. Clapham common was a short tube ride, or an easy walk for some good bars or markets on the weekend.
The flat was comfortable, clean, quiet and warm. The living area is spacious and well lit. There were plenty of towels to use during our fairly long stay. The balcony was nice and large, however, we didn't use it due to the cold! It would be great in warmer months. The presence of an iron, ironing board, washing machine and clothes drying racks was appreciated as I was starting work in London during our stay.
The only downside for us was the shower: the pressure and temperature were low compared to the sink taps in the apartment. It was still adequate and wouldn't be a big concern for a short stay, but we would have preferred a better shower for our longer stay. However, overall, a great place to stay!
We really really enjoyed our stay at Nicks place! The house is even way nicer in real life than it shows in the pictures! Its very big but still cosy, we felt at home right away. And it has a bath, wow :). We liked the house so much that we wanted to stay in all day haha. We didn't do that of course.
The location is also very nice. Close to the Stockwell tube, which brings you within minutes to central London.
We met Nicks friend Chris for the keys. This was also very convenient. Our flight was delayed and we were in touch with Chris the whole time. He was able to meet us when we arrived at Stockwell (so much later than we expected). Thanks Chris!
Got keys from friend of host and given good directions to apt (not actually taken to another apt). Apt clean and tidy. Bed comfortable. Welcome note provided good info about apt and area. Easy to walk to tube and shops/buses. Would definitely stay again.
This flat was great. I did not have correspondence with Nick as he was away but his friend Chris was alway helpful. Any questions we had were promptly answered. Stockwell station is a decent walk, about 10-15 minutes but the Northern and Victoria tube lines are great, and the station being Zone 2 makes it so easy to get to central London. There are a number of supermarkets and convenience shops around the corner and on the walk from the station which is handy. The flat itself was neat and tidy, and very spacious which made it very comfortable. Would highly recommend Nick & Chris as hosts while staying in London.
Everything was great at the flat! Always warm even in the cold winter, easy to get to the city centre (just 20 min to Trafalgar Square by bus), and 10 minutes walk to the nearest tube station. Quiet neirbourghood, a peaceful and perfect place to stay in London!

I enjoy big city breaks having recently been to Buenos Aires, Rio, Kolkata and Bangkok. I equally enjoy beach holidays and often go to Greece and the Med to relax.
I'm actually about to embark on a world tour, starting in South East Asia. My good friend, Chris, will be looking after my flat while I am away.
