The studio is located in a modern, architectural residence only 12 mins away from the city center by bus/ferry and a short walk to main museums. This area has nice houses, lush gardens, beaches, as well as cafes and restaurants overviewing the fjord.

The space

You will have the entire studio for yourself, including an adjacent private bathroom, a washing-machine and a well-equipped kitchen-area for self-catering. In addition you will be able to use free wifi and TV.

The studio has a capacity for up to 4-5 adults (one double-bed, two sofa-beds 120x200 cm) and possibility for an additional bed.
The windows from the studio are facing the garden/private and quiet road.

The neighborhood is peaceful with lush gardens and is situated close to the Royal Manor and the Royal summer residence where you will feel as if being in the countryside and still only 12 minutes from the city center by ferry/bus.

I have two other studios/apartments in my house that are also listed here on Airbnb. Please feel free to check them out:

Unfortunately we're having some work done in the garden this period, so the pictures in the listing do not correspond to what it actually looks like these days. However we will try our outmost that this work does not bother our guests. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this.

The grandmother of this house tells everything about the town, the places to visit and all famous places. The house is also close to the ferry station making it easy to go to the city hall.

Wonderful stay - a gracious and welcoming host, and everything you need to comfortably enjoy this wonderful part of Oslo. Viking Ship and Folk Museums and a local market a very short walk away, easy access to central Oslo by bus, and a nice park with a great beach close by. Couldn't be happier!

We so enjoyed our stay at Jo's peaceful home in Bygdoy. The proximity to the museums, parks and beaches could not have been more perfect. Irene's recommendations for restaurants and fresh fruit and vegetables were perfect. Thank your for letting us stay in your lovely comfortable home. We hope to be back. Ceri & Henry
