About this listing
The B&B Villa Fontilha is situated in a medieval large house built of stone. The 3 double bedrooms and 1 twin are on the same floor with an exotic Moroccan style bathroom.
We speak French, English and Russian.
Villa Fontilha is located in the heart of Usclas d'Hérault, a typical French southern village on the banks of the Hérault River in Languedoc. The house has a pretty, shaded garden with a large sunny terrace. We can host up to 8 guests in our 4 comfortable bedrooms.
There is a tranquil, landscaped terrace for eating breakfast al fresco.
The village of Usclas d'Hérault dates from Roman times. The authentic touch of history blends perfectly with modern, rustic style design and comforts of Villa Fontilha. Originally, the building was part of the village's medieval rampart, with many details that are witness to those ancient times.

This is a fantastic place to stay. We stayed here for two nights as a base to see the area.
The house is only maybe 15 minutes drive from the main highways.
Very friendly hosts on arrival, and rooms and bathroom spacious, clean and very homely.
Eric and Julia have brilliant language skills, so communication was great.
The house has a long history, full of character, and is tucked away just off the village square.
We had two rooms, one for the children , and the bathroom is really nice in a Moroccan style.
There was plenty of breakfast, and great conversation with the hosts who are very knowledgable and enthusiastic about the local area.
We will definitely stay again when we are in the area.
Thank you for a great stay!
Super accueil par Éric et sa famille, très sympathiques. Les chambres sont adorables, la salle de bain et le jardin charmants. Le village de Pezenas, pas loin, est tres joli et très animé. Une belle destination que nous recommandons.
Our hosts were very kind and helpful. They recommended a perfect restaurant for the evening. The house was very cosy and original decorated. We liked the authentic look and the lounge sit in the garden with a big ancient tree. In short: we liked it here!
A lovely welcome at Villa Fontilha. Eric and Yulia made us feel very comfortable sharing their space. An interesting home that has been restored by Eric with some beautiful features. Good breakfast in the garden. It was a nice stay. Shared bathroom, and quirky home - not for everyone, but we enjoyed it. We were made to feel very welcome. Thank you.
Amazing!!!! Everything about this place is magical. Set in an old lovely town of 300 inhabitants next to beaches and lovely towns. The house has beautiful bedrooms and large bathroom. Full of interesting details and its original beauty. The garden in the back is lovely and there we had a fresh nutritious breakfast. The host are warm and friendly. We had few interesting conversation with them. . If i would ever be in that area again i would definitely go there again. The host speak perfect english. Lots of parking. I highly recommend it! Thank you so much for hosting us!!
We loved staying with Julia and Eric! They greeted us with a friendly apperative after we got badly lost. Such lovely hosts ...Their house is amazing, the bathroom has an amazing tub and as other guests have commented, lots of hot water. Beds were very comfortable. We had a borrow of their bikes and ride through pretty roads with vineyards on one side and fields of sunflowers on the other. There is a beautiful spot to swim on the river a short bike ride away. The town is tiny, food and restaurants are 2km away but this is part of the charm. It's a brilliant place to base yourself for visiting the surrounding attractions. Breakfast was lovely and Julia was gorgeous - we had lots of good recommendations. Only sorry we didn't stay a little longer. Thank you! :)
