About This Listing
This is a charming studio apartment perfect for a small family or a couple.
Both children and adults will delight in sleeping in the loft though there is also a comfortable pull-out bed underneath for those who prefer to keep their feet on the ground.
There is a lovely enclosed front porch where guests can sit and relax amongst the plants and hanging grape vines.
This apartment also has a unique family story, as the building has belonged to our family for over 7 generations. Nearby is a synagogue which was built by my great-grandfather, and which is still in use today.
The apartment is located in the heart of Jerusalem, in the historic neighborhood of Nachlaot.
Within just a few minutes walk is the famous Mahane Yehuda open-air market and downtown Jerusalem is just a little bit further down the road. And if you walk about 25 minutes more you'll find yourself in The Old City of Jerusalem where the Western Wall is located, as well many other holy and historic sights.
But if you want to get a bite somewhere local or do some shopping, you'll find a variety of delightful cafes, restaurants and shops almost right outside your door. And if you have your kids in tow you can take them to play at one of the local playgrounds.
The studio is fully furnished and equipped with everything that you need for you vacation home. There is air conditioning, heating, a washing machine, stove & oven, and Internet. You will also be provided with towels, linens, soap, shampoo and laundry detergent.
The apartment can accommodate 3 people and is available for both short and long term rentals.

The studio is both historic and charming, and a very comfortable place to stay; the location is superb—within easy walking to anywhere in the center city; and Pnina and her husband Shai are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. It doesn’t get any better than this!
Shai and Pnina were Great! Pnina was very quick to answer emails and queries. We were not sure of our arrival and departure dates. Pnina was extremely helpful and patient in working with us. Shai met us at the apartment, let us in, and gave us the grand tour of the area. Shai is the best. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The location is wonderful for enjoying and exploring Jerusalem. We'll be back.
Pnina and Shay spared no effort to make our stay at their apartment as pleasurable as possible. We even got a tour through the neighborhood and the near Mahnahe Yehuda market, thanks to which we started our holiday perfectly.
The neighborhood is really nice – although not always as quiet as it might seem at first: the apartment is located in a small pedestrian street but it is quite lively and by-passers and tourist groups can make some ruckus just in front of the windows. And since the apartment is located virtually below a synagogue on Sabbath and Jewish holidays the the flat is filled with songs from upstairs!
If you’re looking for a quiet place to spend some time reading this might not be the place for you, but then why would you even go to Jerusalem? If on the other hand you always dreamed of living in a cute ancient apartment next door to a full grown Shouk bursting with life, it most definitely is.
Pnina's apartment is in a great location and has an amazing history. Pnina was very welcoming and met us very easily. The apartment is quite small - so really suitable for no more than 2 people.
Pnina and her husband Shay are two very kind and helpful persons who were always ready to help us and to give us some really good advices. Pnina showed us the neighbourhood and Shay helped us rent a car - thank you again!
The studio is charming and is located in the middle of an authentic and old neighbourhood. The sights are within walking distance which is great! We loved staying at Pnina's place!
Pnina's apartment is beautiful and in a fantastic location, walking distance to the shuk, Ben Yehuda Street, Independence Park and the Old City.
Pnina went above and beyond and picked me up in her car at my friend's house to make my stay easier. She was warm, kind, and made sure we had everything we needed.

About the Host, Pnina
I am the mother of four wonderful kids, who are now all grown up and out of the house. I love to travel, go to the theatre, see movies and I meet new people. I've really been enjoying getting to meet some of the wonderful people who have come to stay at our apartments, from all over the world.
