A spacious and comfortable family home combining modern standards with a traditional style and atmosphere. Perfect for one or two families who wish to explore the region or just enjoy the Norwegian summer. Good surroundings for hiking, biking, bathing, fishing, bird watching etc.

Four bedrooms / eight beds. Extra beds for children can be provided for.

The space
The property is situated on a hillside with a scenic view of Randsfjorden - the longest inland fjord in Norway.

Beautiful gardens with several outdoor dining possibilities; gazebo with spectacular view of the fjord; greenhouse. Cubby house and swings available for children.

Ground floor contains: Hallway; spacious combined kitchen / dining room with open fire place; living room with TV/video; bathroom with bathtub; laundry/scullery with washing machine/drying machine.

First floor contains: Living room with fjord view; master bedroom with double bed; bedroom with double bed. In addition: living room / bedroom with twin beds (NB passage to one of the bedrooms).

Second floor (attic) contains: Bedroom with twin beds.

The Hadeland region is on the list of nationally valuable cultural landscapes and offers good possibilities for hiking, biking, bathing, fishing, bird watching, horse rides etc. The region can also offer some of Norway’s most visited museums and attractions.

The village Brandbu is located in Hadeland, the southernmost region in the county of Oppland. The Hadeland region is on the list of nationally valuable cultural landscapes and offers good possibilities for hiking, biking, bathing, fishing, bird watching, horse rides etc.

The region also offer some of Norway’s most visited museums and attractions including:

- Hadeland Folkemuseum - open air museum where you can witness the burial ground of the Norwegian Viking king Halvdan Svarte (10 minutes by car)

- Søsterkirkene («the Sisters Churches») - Granavollen. One of the oldest finds is a rune stone from the 11th century (15 minutes by car)

- Hadeland Glassverk (“Hadeland Glassworks”) - one of Norway's most visited tourist attractions. The Visitor Centre offers a variety of activities for children and adults alike. (30 minutes by car)

- Kistefos Museum - industrial museum, art Hall and sculpture park. Exhibitions by contemporary artists, both Norwegian and international. (35 minutes by car)
