Fully renovated 1910 farmhouse located just steps away from the Granary District and all of the shops, restaurants and famous wine tasting rooms on 3rd Street. The home features the charm and character of the early 1900s architecture with reclaimed hardwood floors, an open concept living and dining room flooded with natural light, French doors, and a spacious designer kitchen.

The space
This amazing farmhouse features an expansive wraparound porch that faces Alpine Avenue, which was recently redeveloped as part of the NE Gateway plan to create a pedestrian friendly street with built-in planter boxes and custom, high-end designer elements to attract locals, visitors and tourists to this very cool urban revitalization zone. To support our local winemakers, we provide our guests with complimentary tasting discounts from some of our favorite tasting rooms in McMinnville and the Willamette Valley, which is highly regarded as the best wine tasting region for Pinot Noir!
This warm and spacious home is absolutely perfect for small family gatherings, celebrations and special occasions. It can comfortably accommodate up to 7 guests with 4 beautiful bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. There is a gorgeous bedroom downstairs with a full-size bed, a fireplace and easy access to the downstairs bathroom, living room and kitchen. As you walk up the stairs, there is a cozy parlor area, which provides a quiet retreat where you can relax with a cup of tea or a good book. There are 3 additional bedrooms upstairs. The first bedroom is at the top of the stairs and has a queen size bed and a spacious closet. As you approach the parlor, the gorgeous master bedroom is to your left. It features a queen size bed, a walk-in closet and a beautiful bathroom with a separate shower and a romantic clawfoot tub. To the right of the parlor is a cozy bedroom with a full-size antique, iron bed and a lovely antique dresser. The living room and all upstairs bedrooms have their own separate heating and air conditioning units for the perfect, individualized climate control.
The kitchen is an absolute entertainer's delight!! It is fully equipped with all of the dishes, pots and pans and utensils needed for a special family gathering. It also features brand-new stainless-steel appliances, including a 5-burner gas stove / oven.
There is a cozy sunroom next to the kitchen that has a daybed perfect for lounging or an afternoon nap. It also has a trundle bed that can be used for an extra guest. The sunroom has French doors that lead out to the expansive covered porch. There is also a full laundry room with a utility sink that is accessible through the sunroom.

Where you’ll be

McMinnville, Oregon, United States

Our modern farmhouse is within very easy walking distance to the Granary district and 3rd Street, which is McMinnville's 'main' street where the majority of the restaurants and wine tasting rooms are located. Our home is on Alpine Avenue, which is an area that was recently redeveloped by the City of McMinnville to create a pedestrian friendly atmosphere. The neighborhood features an eclectic mix of businesses, artisan workshops and residences. The City's plan to redevelop the area is ongoing and there are significant improvements underway that will include a new artisan market with food trucks and additional dining / drinking options. There is a pie baker, wine maker and custom cabinet maker across the street. The first tasting room, Eyrie Vineyards, is on the same block as our home but within just 2 short blocks there are numerous wine tasting rooms, including Elizabeth Chambers which has a spectacular tasting room located in the City's former historic power plant building. The location of our home is virtually a paradise for dining, wine tasting and shopping.
McMinnville is an absolutely charming city with beautiful, historic buildings and one of the best main streets (3rd Street) in the United States. Sunset Magazine awarded McMinnville the 2018 Travel Award, which recognized our beautiful city as one of the top travel destinations. The following article is taken directly from Sunset Magazine: This small agricultural community has responded to the Pinot Noir–driven tourist boom, and now you hardly need to leave its limits to experience the valley’s riches. Downtown, on picturesque Third Street, you’ll find 19th-century brick buildings housing restaurants, cafes, art galleries, and boutiques, as well as 15 wine-tasting establishments. A warm, inviting, and genuine friendly atmosphere is what you’ll find on your next getaway to McMinnville, Oregon. Whether it’s the nostalgic feeling of walking below the majestic maple trees lining the historic downtown’s shopping district, or the satisfying sensation of drinking some of the world’s best Pinot Noir grown and fermented at a vineyard just down the road, you’re sure to experience the warmth and friendliness in McMinnville. Dining at an award-winning farm-to-table restaurant, shopping, wine tasting, and McMinnville hotels and lodging experiences as uniquely welcoming as the town itself are just a few of the adventures you can tackle in a weekend or a week.
