I feel privileged to have met Kara and her family. She is a warm and caring host that can make anybody feel comfortable. She has a beautiful family and I already miss our conversations!
We warmly recommend this address, which proved just as cozy and welcoming as described by other guests. The home is just what we were looking for: inviting and comfortable; central yet quiet and just across the street from a large park; and, most importantly, inhabited by delightful hosts. We had an unforgettable week in Kingston - much of it owed to the amazingly kind and thoughtful welcome offered by Kara and her children. Huge thanks to all of you!
We stayed at Kara's cottage for an entire week as we raced the Shark Worlds in August 2012. The 3 of us enjoyed the feeling of having a 'home' to return to after 8 hours on the water. Coffee on the back patio or hanging out listening to music in the livingroom. Lots of parking and only 8 minutes from town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Home is my favourite place to play and Be - with my children, family and friends - and on my own is good too.
I love colour and light, dancing and music, eating and sharing real food, film, good TV, taking pictures and video on my phone. I sometimes read a lot - not as much as I used to but there are still many, many books next to my bed.
I've traveled some - Canada, the U.S. and Europe - will get to Newfoundland and the Haida Gwaii at some point - these days being at a family cottage on the big lake in Wellington is as far as I need to go. I want to walk there some day soon - biking also on the list - guess I could swim there but don't really need to. Wouldn't catch me running.
My greatest worry about getting to the end of my life is that I will regret not having skied enough.
I am an educator at heart but belonged to the world of film production at one time and miss it. Being a parent the greatest job I've ever had.
