Our stay at Vincent's was really nice. The house is very big and comfortable but a little cold even if the heating was on. The neighborhood in quite and the town has every essential one needs (also some really cute pubs)

Vincent and Colette are lovely people and were very welcoming upon our arrival. Their home was a great place for our family of four, with plenty of space and a well equipped kitchen. It is a short walk around the corner to the grocery, pubs, and pharmacy. We also really enjoyed spending time at Strokestown Park - the museum, manor house, gardens, and cafe. The people here are incredibly warm and friendly, and should you be around the first Thursday of the month, do yourself a favor and spend the evening at Hanly's Pub. What a great traditional Irish music session! Strokestown is a great location for exploring County Roscommon and beyond. A wonderful experience enjoyed by our whole family.

I would like to thank Vincent so much for hosting us at his lovely house in Strokestown. The house is very clean, comfortable and well presented. Vincent left things like tea, coffee and cooking oil which makes it to much easier on a short stay. And what a location! If you want to experience life in a beautiful heritage town then go to Strokestown where the 'Big House' sits at the end of the main street! Vincent's house is in walking distance of beautiful Strokestown Park House with it's stunning restored 18th and 19th century gardens and The Irish National Famine Museum. There are lots of quirky heritage pubs in Strokestown too. And a great chipper! All in all, a lovely house and a lovely place to visit!

This house is just wonderful. It is super big and warm, you've got everyhing you need in there and it is also really close to all amenities in Strokestown( Pubs, Cafes, Supermarkets, Bus station... ) We spent 2 weeks here and I would recommend it to anyone who really wants to live like a local. Vincent & Colette were there when we arrived and I just can't tell how helpful they were. They are just lovely and will help you in anything you may need. They are the people you want to meet when you arrive to a new Country. We will definitely come back. Thank you very very much.

Vincent and his wife were really welcoming. They were here the minute we arrived and helped us settle into the house thanks to a quick but effective overview of the accomodation. However, the house was not really prepared for us. Our first night was awful because of the cold and it took one complete day to warm it. Moreover, it's written in the descritption of the house that the Wi-fi is available when we had to pay 10euros to only get 2GO of Internet for four days. The pictures of the house are perfect to understand the rooms of the house, no surprise here.
