Other Things to Note
We're a well-traveled couple who enjoy meeting people and learning from them. We love to hear about where you live and where we need to put on our list for next trips! LGBTQ friendly.
Smokers are welcome, though you'll kindly smoke outside. We do have animals (2 cats and 2 dogs)...your dog is welcome, as long as they're friendly.
Meaghan and Mary are very hospitable. Upon my arrival was offered to join them for dinner. Anything I needed I only had to ask- even was let borrow snow shoes for a trip to the mountains! I was allowed full use of the kitchen as I was there for several weeks while on internship. They were helpful with offering local information and suggestions for shopping and restaurants. The room and is very comfortable and clean with plenty of space. This home is busy with several people/children there as well as two dogs and two cats but everyone is polite and respectful. The dogs are friendly, but easily let out into the yard if they become bothersome.
It was great to be there. I felt welcome and at home. Plus, there was a BBQ waiting for me when I got there. Lots of fun sharing conversation with the kids and adults. Nice place too.
Meagan, Mary and family were great hosts. Very accommodating and tipped us off to an amazing restaurant downtown! Room was as described and breakfast/coffee before hitting the road again in the morning - recommend!
Meagan and Mary should be rated Superhosts!! Out of five stays in a row they were our absolute favorites. It is more than a home, than a place to stay. We were greeted by two dogs, two cats, and a toddler but somehow that melted our travel wearied hearts and we loved it! Mary welcomed us and gave us great suggestions for our drive and dinner choices. The bed was so comfortable and we had a private bathroom. Everything was clean and set up for us. Breakfast was one for the books! They were the first of five hosts to make us breakfast. We had homemade pumpkin-Chocolate chip muffins, coffee, eggs, and bacon! They sent us on our way with snacks and Christmas candy! We highly recommend this stay. They are the perfect stop to feel at home away from home. Great conversation, happiest toddler we've met and loving animals.
We had a great time! We requested our stay last minute, and Meaghan was quick to respond. After a long day of driving we were happy to have a comfortable and clean room and very friendly hosts. They offered us refreshments and snacks, and even sent us off with homemade muffins for the road the next morning. We enjoyed playing with the dogs and little one and chatting with our hosts about local history and neat places to explore. We definitely recommend it!
My stay with Meaghan and Mary was excellent! The room was indeed cozy and private, and the private bath was a great bonus. I was greeted with open arms by both my hosts and their beautiful dogs/cats. This was my first airbnb experience and I don't think it could have been any better. I would definitely stay again!
Meaghan and Mary were great hosts, I was happily greeted at the door by Mary and two amazing dogs, who stayed up with me (it was late when I came in) and had great conversation. The accommodations were very clean and nicely put together, a big bed, tv, and shower. It was set up just like any hotel, with towels and soap and plenty of hot water. In the morning they fed me more than they had to and got me well caffeinated. I'd stay there again hands down.
Thank you Ladies!
