Luna has a beautiful, clean home and a sweet family. For the price, it is well worth it, but there are a few things to note, most importantly: "Private bathroom" was not so private (see below) and the bedroom doors didn't stay shut. PROs: *Daily self-serve breakfast delivered straight to the bedroom door (yummy, too!) *Sweet, friendly family *Strong, fast wifi *Clean home NEUTRALs: *Location- very close to train station, but not much else (we had to search far and wide for restaurants) *Bed- comfy but very loud (and felt somewhat unstable-it's a loft, as described) CONs: *Very warm *"Private bathroom" was not in fact private- it was shared with the family for laundry, etc. There were several instances that family members were waiting to get in, and I felt rushed. Also, at one point someone tried to open the door without knocking and then walked away. *Bedroom doors didn't lock and sometimes didn't even stay closed. A few times, our doors swung wide open due to wind. *"intrusion" - (not sure if it's cultural) there were two times we had signs that people had been in our bedroom after we'd left for the day. It's a little unnerving. *Very specific and late check-in time compared to most places, which can be difficult for travelers ***I will say that they were kind enough to let us check-in 30 min earlier***

I would recommend Luna's home to anyone visiting Rome! Ana, Massimo and Luna were so kind and welcoming. The flat is beautiful, bright, and clean! The room was perfect with a lofted bed. We had wonderful weather so we left the window open for a nice breeze all the time. Even the bathroom was beautiful! The shower does drain a little slowly, and if coming from the US, they do start counting the ground floor as "0", so if you are walking up the stairs, the 4th floor is up 5 flights of stairs. But the elevator does label it as "4". Just something new we learned! It's also an easy 10-15 minute walk to the nearest metro, which was great. But one of our favorite things was that Ana would leave a little cart in front of our bedroom door each morning with a nice breakfast of little pastries, fruit, milk, juice, biscuits and coffee! We felt so pampered waking up to that. If you're visiting Rome, you should stay here!

Luna and her family were so great to us while we were in Rome! The apartment is as beautiful as the photos and the location is great! Our flight got in really late so we took a taxi straight to their place from the train station. After that we were able to walk to the metro station each day and easily make it to all the sites. The apartment complex has two different gates and is in a nice area. We felt very safe and well taken care of. Luna and her parents were there at the apartment the entire stay and provided us with the delicious breakfast each morning. They were able to answer any questions and provided us with good info on touring Rome. We felt right at home! This Airbnb was our favorite place we stayed during our 12 days traveling.

Anna and her husband were great hosts. They welcomed me even though my flight arrived late in the evening. The room was in the back, making it a quiet area. The room itself was really cool, the bed "hanged" over the desk area. Everything was clean, the bathroom is spacious, and the breakfast they offered was a good way to start the day. It's only a 10 minute walk from the metro which is the line that connects you to all the touristic sights which was nice. I would definitely recommend!

We had the most lovely stay at this home with Anna and Maximo! They were wonderful hosts, giving us advice on local restaurants, taxis, bus lines, and beautiful places to see. The breakfast served every morning was a perfect way to begin-the perfectly set up cart would be left outside your room door at 8am (pastry, espresso, juice, tea, toast, jam, breakfast cookies, cereal, and milk/sugar). It was great to not have to find a place for breakfast, and to just roll out of bed and open the big window to the lovely view during breakfast. The place is just like the pictures, beautifully decorated and very clean! Hosts are responsive and considerate. The location is ideal, right next to the 85 bus line, which will take you to most everything! Book this place and have a lovely, romantic visit!
