Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
Casa Luna, our romantic getaway, has a hanging queen-size bed upstairs with a spectacular view of the ocean. There is also a sitting area and a hammock built for two. Downstairs, there is a stationary queen-size bed and a twin bed/couch. Luna has a fully equipped kitchen with a view that looks out to the ocean. The stove is a four burner, sorry no oven.

The space
Waking up to the view of Yelapa Bay from Casa Luna is simply divine! This uniquely-built two-story casita is ideal for a spiritual retreat, romance, or just some peaceful relaxation.
The upper level has a hanging queen-size bed, a small private living room and a hammock fit for two. The main floor has a stationary queen-sized bed, a twin bed/couch, a palapa-roofed bathroom and a full kitchen that includes a four-burner stove, a refrigerator, a coffee maker and a blender. We try and keep some essentials like salt, pepper, oil, teas and coffee. The high ceiling and skylight in the kitchen create a feeling of openness and light which abound throughout Casa Luna.
Casa Luna comes stocked with linens, towels and dishes for your comfort and a lockbox for your valuables. We provide hand and shower soap, but not other toiletries...we do provide ALOT of adventure.

Where you’ll be

Yelapa, Jelisco, Mexico

There are no cars in Yelapa. You get here by taking a water taxi from Puerto Vallarta, about a 45 min. ride. Once in Yelapa, you can either walk or ride a burro, there are no cars. While at Luna, it is a 5 to 10 min. walk into the village. The path is rocky and uneven in some places and can be a challenge to folks with physical limitations. It's probably a 15 / 20min. walk to the main beach OR if you are adventurous you may easily cross the small cove to the main beach by kayak. If your swimming skills are moderate or better, you could also swim or you can always catch the water taxi over. Since nothing is very far away, walking is the preferred method of getting around. Some paths in Yelapa may not be accessible for folks with physical limitations.

During your stay

Either myself or my partner Ann are here to greet you and make sure you have everything you need. If we are not in Yelapa at the time of your visit, our caretaker will be here. We like to know what water taxi you will be coming in on so that someone can meet you at Playa Isabel and show you to your casa.
