What a quaint, charming place to spend my anniversary. I loved staying at Becky's cottage and felt at home right away. The pictures do not do the place justice. Becky was a wonderful hostess and made sure the cottage was stocked with anything we could possibly want or need. The Dolan House up the street served an incredible breakfast with a side of history that I would highly recommend. Overall, I had a great stay at the Lincolnworks cottage and cannot wait to return again in the future.
This was an ideal stay for our anniversary. Becky put great thought into the amenities, comfort, and overall enjoyment. We will go back to stay there again and again.
Becky was such an awesome host! It was the best feeling to enter the casita after a long drive and find Starbucks coffee with a pot ready and waiting for us with chocolate to boot! We walked in and felt right at home. She had left a nice list of places to eat and see in the area and also a good collection of travel books and DVDs for a night in. The space was clean and roomy for a studio and had all the comforts of home, shampoo and soap in the bathroom, plenty of dishes and even a crockpot to cook dinner while we were out in Ruidoso. Overall this was an amazing experience and we are recommending to friends and we will definitely be back! Beats a hotel every time :)
Just the cutest place! Cozy & warm - Lincolnworks is a great jumping-off point for day trips to Roswell, Ruidoso, White Sands, Three Rivers Petroglyphs, etc. Lincoln provides a wonderful history lesson & the countryside makes you picture cowboys on horses riding out on the range. If you have 4-wheel drive, there are a couple of off-road treks to take from the highway between Lincoln & Capitan that add a bit of excitement! Stay at Lincolnworks and you won't be disappointed!
Lincoln works cottage was a wonderful cozy place, we had a wonderful weekend stay there. The place is small but has everything you need for a private little getaway. We would definitely stay here again. Becky gave detailed instructions and described the place pretty well, there were no real surprises. Two thumbs up!
Becky made sure we had everything we needed, while leaving us in privacy. Struck a nice balance.
The cottage is cute and charming. We had a little wow moment when we entered. What a great value.
It was nice to be in the relative remoteness of Lincoln but still a short 30 min drive from Ruidoso. I'd highly recommend.
Becky has created a perfect retreat at Lincolnworks. It is a darling place to stay, extremely clean, cozy, nicely remodeled and decorated and right in the middle of historic Lincoln. I came at night and didn't realize I could just walk out the door of the cottage into history. The museums and old homes of Lincoln are on the main street right around the cottage. Becky is an attentive and delightful host, leaving provisions in the cottage for just about everything. It was great to have the WiFi, even though it is unsecured. The town is very quiet, the scenery in the area is beautiful, and I chose to stay in Lincoln because of this great place its proximity to places nearby that I wanted to see. I may never be back that way, but, who knows, I might think of an excuse, just to stay at Lincolnworks!
Becky was super flexible and understanding when we wanted to change dates (because of floodings RoMo NP and the govt shutdown), and also very quick with her replies which took away some of the stress of having to rearrange things.
She kindly served us pizza and beers when we arrived late after a long drive; she's kind and helpful: all in all a great hostess.
Lincoln is a cute, tiny little, historic town. Definitely worth checking out.
Becky's cottage is super nice. Highly recommended.
This place was amazing! Becky had everything ready and neat when we arrived even though we didn't get to meet her I was still amazed at the beautiful condition of the place and the top notch amenities she provided. Lincoln was a cute town and a good place to walk around. We will definitely be coming back.
Becky was a wonderful host. The Lincolnworks casita was the perfect secluded getaway. It felt like I was staying in my own little house! There was many thoughtful amenities and treats that were very welcoming. I definitely recommend staying here.
