A home of your own in Brooklyn! Our house sits on a quiet block but near to everything in Park Slope. There's plenty of room for a family to spread out over three floors, with a master bedroom with king-size bed, two room with single beds (these are our kids' rooms, so note that they are decorated accordingly), and a small guest room with fold out double bed. There are hardwood floors throughout, exposed brick walls on the bottom floor, and plenty of light including a skylight over the dining area.
You enter on the second floor, which includes a living room, and the master BR and bath (with shower but no tub). Downstairs leads you to the kitchen/living area/dining area and garden, including a dishwasher and all the cooking supplies you could need. There is a half bath on this floor.
The third floor has the two kids bedrooms, the guest room, and a full bath with tub.
The house has great details throughout, including the original stairway and pretty built-ins.
All the BRs and the downstairs living room have air conditioning, and there are also fans in all the BRs except the guest room, and in the second floor living room.
Guests will have full access to the house, including use of kids' bikes and scooters.
Interaction with Guests
We'll greet you when you arrive but won't be in town while you are at our home. You'll be able to reach us by text if there are any problems, of course!
Terrific public transportation! You're close to the R train at Prospect Ave or the F/G at 7th Ave/9th St, or buses that run along 5th ave and 7th aves.

Rebecca made our experience with airbnb great. Rebecca was communicative and friendly. We were provided with very details instructions with regards to the house and where things are stored. Rebecca was always quick to respond if we had any questions while staying in her home.
Our host met us at the appointed time and gave us a tour of the house. The house is located in a safe neighborhood an easy walk to shops and restaurants.
Awesome house, awesome host! The experience of staying in this place exceeded our expectations. Rebecca, the host, was friendly, clear, and efficient in all communication. This house became home for our family during our brief stay. It is a lovely place, well furnished, and spacious. Staying here gave us a favorable experience of what it is like to live in a nice neighborhood within a big city. I would describe the neighborhood as quiet and safe yet lively and vibrant. The house is conveniently located for a short walk to get groceries/supplies, to the park, and to the subway to venture out throughout NYC. We would highly recommend this place. Thanks for making it available to us this week!
Rebecca's home is beautiful, spacious, and well located. We had a group of improvisers in town for DCM, and from the first interaction Rebecca was super responsive, and easy to communicate with. This was their first time renting their home out on Airbnb but everything was set up so we could find everything, and Rebecca was available to answer any questions via Airbnb messages. I would definitely recommend this space to other renters. It is a lovely home owned by lovely people who clearly care about making a good experience for her guests. Thanks again!
thanks for the feedback--sheets were definitely all fresh, possibly something got mixed up in the laundry, but anyway, i'm sorry about that, and will definitely be careful about it in the future. so glad you enjoyed your stay and thanks so much for the really nice review.
About the Host, Rebecca
I've been living in Brooklyn for the past five years with my two wonderful daughters and husband. I got the travel bug early--I've lived for a few months in Spain, Mexico and Guatemala and a few years each in NJ, Connecticut, Maryland, and New Mexico. Welived in San Francisco for ten years and in Tel Aviv for three, but I think we've settled down for good now in New York.
I run a non-profit organization and in what spare time I have I cook, read, do Iyengar yoga, talk politics, walk the dog, and try to see my friends as much as possible.
