Interaction with Guests
Would be happy to share my knowledge of the city and the area. The house from the TV show Family Matters is right around the corner.
Super cool neighborhood. Wrightwood Park is two blocks away. There are two quiet bars (Maeve and Tavish) a few hundred feet from my place, along with Rose Angelli's, a highly recommended Italian restaurant.
More lively nightlife is only a few blocks away. The Southport corridor is to the northwest, Wrigleyville to the north, DePaul to the southeast, and Lincoln Park's finest dining establishments and bars are to the east. I can make recommendations based on what you're looking for.
This apartment is walking distance to the Brown Line, Red Line, Wrigley Field and Lake Michigan.
Walking, driving, CTA train (red, purple, brown) and CTA buses, taxi, Metra.
Other Things to Note
I'm a big fan of traveling. I'd be happy to learn about your traveling stories.
Be nice ;)
Pets on a case-by-case basis -- just ask.
No smoking in the apartment.
Checking in was an absolute breeze, as Jessie has a good system set up for incoming guests.
The apartment was lovely and full of character. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and did not feel crowded with three people staying.
Neighbourhood was nice, with shops, bars and restaurants nearby. There was also a nice park in the area.
Encountered no issues finding street parking, which had been a source of concern for us. The location was great for accessing the city and areas to the North, including airport.
Would definitely recommend this apartment -- particularly to people who are staying a week or more, as it is really easy to self-cater.
Thanks a lot Jessie.

Jessie was very easy to communicate with, both before we checked in and during our stay. The neighborhood is really nice, walkable with a lot of parks for kids. It is easy to get from here anywhere you want, 10 to 15 minutes walk to the nearest metro stop. The apartment is spacious, but run down and could benefit from cleaning.
Very nice place for the price and in a great neighborhood. We took the Red line in from Midway and had a 15 min walk from Fullerton. Ended up renting bikes or walking everywhere including Wrigley field and the north street beach. Jessie had set up the second bed as an air mattress but there was still plenty of room for 3 people. Very flexible on arrival/departure times as well so we never felt rushed. Thanks so much!
Had great communication with Jessie before our visit although as we arrived late due to a delayed flight we didn't get to meet in person. The apartment was large, quiet and had everything we needed. The area was excellent too, lovely leafy streets, plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance, and had a great vibe.
Couple of small things let the place down just a little bit - bathroom wasn't clean when we arrived, and had some loose tiles on the floor (bit of superglue would do the trick!). Also the pillows are pretty beaten up and lumpy, and could do with being updated. But these are minor things that can easily be addressed.
Overall, lovely place, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.
The place met our needs perfectly. Jesse was a responsive and gracious host. Great neighborhood. Parking was not a problem as I was concerned it might be.
Jessie did a great job hosting us! She gave us good recommendations on coffee and was kind enough to let us check in a couple of hours early. The neighborhood was awesome and really close to everything we wanted to see.
