Entire home
You’ll have the house to yourself.
A private house on the beach near a rural fishing village. Great surf in front of the house, uncrowded beaches with the Padre Ramos estuary nearby.

The space
Our house is located on the beach. The surf is excellent in front of the house. It's never crowded. You can take long walks, often without seeing anyone else on the beach. It's also close to the Padre Ramos Estuary.
The house itself has ac in the master bedroom and ceiling fans and an open floor plan. There's a rancho outside the front door with hammocks and shade.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire house and semi private access to the beach.

Other things to note
Our caretaker, Franklin, speaks only Spanish but is excellent at interpreting needs through signs and pointing. He can also help you to call our son, Bodhi.

Location

Jiquilillo, Departamento de Chinandega, Nicaragua

A couple lots over is an elementary school and when school is in session you can hear the kids playing outside at times. It's a joyful sound. Across the street is a small store, or pulperia, in our neighbor's home. With notice she can cook a meal with fresh fish or chicken for a good price.
If you go to the beach to the left is an unspoiled, non-touristy, incredible beach. To the right is the very small and rural fishing village. You can see the boats going out at night and coming in in the morning. People are very warm and friendly.

My husband Peter and I have family in Nicaragua and love to spend time there. People are so warm and friendly. We love connecting with others, eating the local food and traveling around a bit. We have a home in the redwoods of Northern California, close to the beach, and have family in this area as well. Family and travel are very important to us.
