Tom’s place is perfectly situated; just one block from the harbor. There are retail stores, restaurants, taverns, and sightseeing excursions all within easy walking distance. The apartment has a private balcony with a view of the cove. And since it is October, the surrounding fol…

Good to smell southern cooking in the apartment for the week on your business trip. October is becoming the new September!

Septemb (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) We just spent eight wonderful days at the Milliner. This comfortable second floor apartment is located in a beautifully renovated building in downtown Booth bay Harbor. A covered porch extends across the front of the building and lends i…

Another wonderful guest who came here curious about our little town. We were glad to have them, sad to see them go, and will be happy when/if they find the time and need to come back.

We loved the place except for the construction directly across the street (more below). Tom was excellent about keeping in touch. Due to our flight delays he was unable to meet us on arrival, but was exceedingly attentive by text and phone. There were cookies, bread, and excellen…

Thank you for your review. The apartment has pleased enough people to be booked solid during July and August until 2018 - with repeats - and that has been rewarding. The construction was a marked pain this year - and a moving target (several promises made that were continually changed) - though some of my guests were entertained by it (it has become a walking tourist stop) - I have understood when some want to use the deck before 4pm when they stopped - and that effected what is usually a very quiet downtown space. Thankfully it will be over by next season. I think this review points out different sensitivity to noise generally - as many have commented on how quiet the place was (even during construction) and my old 'frig' (which, if I removed it, would probably get a lot of unfavorable comment) has never kept me/them bothered. It is a downtown space after all. As for the picture of the building being developed - it is my intention to update it with a photo of the $1.3mm house and gardens that the new owners are developing which will be a major improvement over the yellow-house-with-chipping-paint. I'll be sure to do that since it will improve the view. I agree on the towels (more added, I am hair-challenged myself and did not understand the need) and have been asked for that light shade on the deck door - will be done by "sun season" next year. Thank you for your stay and your comments.

Very nice accommodating couple who moved from one unit (Aerie, 500095)) to another (Milliner, this one) because of booking details. Ruthie misses yet another good new friend - and we hope to see you back soon.
