165 sq foot dreamy Tiny Home in a woods-setting with a covered porch. The interior has a wood stove, stove top, mini fridge, shower, and eco-friendly composting toilet. The loft bedroom is serene with a skylight to view the stars. A futon couch provides a downstairs bed option. Only a few miles of the Clinton ferry, downtown Langley, wineries, shops, hiking, beaches, and more! Glamping getaway! Pet friendly, but please note there are friendly farm dogs wondering the property.

The space
This Tiny House was featured on HGTV, and like most Tiny Homes it is built like a cabin on wheels. The interior decor is farmhouse charm meets rustic cottage. Large 60” projection screen with standard DVD player is provided, but please note there is no cable or Wifi service in the woods. Some DVDs, books, and games are provided, but feel free to bring your own. The DVD player is also a Bluetooth player so you can enjoy music or the radio. There is a staircase created from reinforced wood crates which leads to the lofted main bedroom with queen size bed. Please note that the stairs are steep. The couch also folds out into a full-size bed with a futon mattress. The kitchen includes a propane stovetop, kettle & french press, stovetop toaster, a mini-fridge with a freezer, and everything you need to cook a meal. A small bathroom is located in the back with a hot shower, small tub (for washing children or doggies), and a waterless top-of-the-line composting toilet (eco-friendly and off-grid). You might need to empty the urine chamber in the toilet every few days, but it’s easy. Or, if you prefer, pee in the woods and don’t worry about it! It’s that private out here! “Solids” chamber of the toilet you don’t have to worry about. For warmth, there is electric heat, or a gorgeous stainless steel wood stove. Outside you can enjoy large covered porch with comfy furniture and gorgeous string lights - the perfect place to sip your morning coffee. There is also an outdoor fire pit (chiminea) with folding camp chairs & marshmallow roasting sticks, a propane bbq, zen area, a few short hiking trails, and a wood chopping area where you are welcome to gather and chop your own wood. A new addition is a macrame swing! A real woodsy getaway!

Friendly pets are allowed, but please keep them on leash and clean up after them. There are a few friendly off leash dogs on the property. They mostly stay away from the tiny house, but there is a chance you could encounter them. Please make sure your dog is friendly with others.

Guest access
A private driveway will lead you to the Tiny House, which is surrounded by woods. Very private and enchanting! There is a parking spot provided for you on the right at the top of the driveway. If you arrive late at night, it can be very dark. We suggest using a flashlight or your phone to navigate the short path safely. You can also catch a bus directly from the ferry, as there is a bus stop only a few minutes walk away.

We are near the main highway on the island, and there is some traffic noise around ferry times. With the windows closed inside the Tiny House you can't hear it, but it is in the background when you are outside.

A lock box is mounted to the front door, which contains the key. The code to the lock box will be provided to you with directions to the property. Please follow the directions and not the address provided, as the Tiny House’s Private driveway is on the other side of the property.

Other things to note
We are so close to many amazing activies in Langley, Clinton, and all over the island. I have provided a list of my recommendations in the Tiny House.

The composting toilet is easy to use, but I have provided a manual next to it, as it is different from a standard toilet. If you fill the urine container, it will need to be emptied, which is simple and explained in the manual. You may also use the woods as a bathroom if you prefer. Get ready for your eco-friendly glamping experience!

We are dog friendly! We do our best to clean all dog hair from the home after each stay, but if you have an allergy to dogs, this is not the place for you.

Hello! I built a Tiny House in 2013, traveled with it for one year, and then lived in it until 2017. Now I enjoy sharing it with others on AirBNB. When I travel, I like to stay in eclectic accommodations.
