Absolutely no pets, and no smoking. This is a residential area, so no late night or loud partying. If you want a "spring break" type location, there are other locations listed. This is a true vacation getaway for those looking to relax.
George's place was not only wonderful and fantastic but more than what we expected. Excellent place for home away from home! The place is quiet and comfortable. George is an excellent hosts and will accommodate you for any of your needs. I have already boasts to my family and friends about the condo.
My contact with the Host was either by email or phone. Always found them to be very helpful. This place was a great place to stay. Very quiet. Usually had the beautiful pool to ourselves. Condo had everything we needed. Full size washer/dryer nice- especially with daily trips to the beach. Really enjoyed the family time there. Looking forward to booking again in the future for a "girl's only" trip. Shopping at the Pawley's Island shops, in Georgetown and a day trip to Charleston are in the plans. We all - the family- thought this is the best place we've stayed in the Myrtle Beach area. Wish we could buy it!!!!!! State park pass a real bonus - can be used at any state park, not just Huntington. The fishing guys used it at Myrtle Beach State park. A bit of a drive but a good pier to fish from. Recommend a trip to Brookgreen Gardens, 1 ticket last for 7 days. Nice evening activities in the summer. Grocery shopping really close, liked Lowe's.
We had an amazing time at George's condo. It was perfect in every way, because it was exactly what we needed. It really made us feel that we were at home. We were in town for a wedding, and it was nice to be able to come back and unwind. George was very responsive from beginning, and that made the process seamless. He was always available, and quick to answer our questions. We are planning to go back this summer if he's available.
My sister and I spent a couple of weeks golfing, shopping, dining and seeing the sights in the area. The moment I walked through the door, it felt like home. I was welcomed by a dining room that was set up very elegantly with table settings including wine glasses. The kitchen is fully stocked with supplies (plates, glasses, cups, cutlery, pots and pans) and includes a blender and toaster.
The location is peaceful, and I really enjoyed the enclosed deck off the back to sit back and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. Located on the ground floor was perfect for hauling in luggage and groceries. This condo is very close to great golf courses, grocery stores, excellent dining, and funky shops. It's also a very short drive to Georgetown to take in everything that community has to offer. Having spent this time on The Grand Strand, I would definitely chose to stay in Pawleys Island for all that it has to offer, and I don't mind the short drive to get to the Tanger Outlets in Myrtle Beach.
Unfortunately, this condo does not have a telephone. If you're an international traveler, you may want to look at setting up a phone plan for your arrival. Despite the lack of a telephone, I was able to contact George through e-mail and he was quick to respond to my inquiries.
I highly recommend this condo and would definitely stay her again.
George's place was accessible to good eats, and close to Huntington Beach Park, which was a lovely respite in the evening after long days of work. Kitchen was well supplied with cooking dishes, utensils, etc. rooms and showers nice as well. Not much room to be outside and the hot tub was not hot, but everything else was great.
First time airbnb.com experience turned out to be a wonderful surprise for my wife's birthday! We had a fantastic time in and around Pawley's Island and George's condo was absolutely perfect. A wonderful property with everything we could ask for! George was immediately responsive starting from initial reservation request through any questions we had. We were so impressed with the condo and all of the accommodations. Thanks to George, this all came together to make our family time a treat for all.
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at this condo in Pawley's Island. The place was very clean, very comfortable and tastefully decorated. We felt right at home and were pleasantly surprised to find board games and cards for fun family time. George was also very helpful in providing us the key in spite of our late Thursday night arrival, which was great since it made it possible to enjoy a full beach day on Friday. Since we were only there a few days we did not use any of the resort facilities but we did use the pass provided for beach access. Thank you.. ....hoping to come back for a longer stay next time!!
About the Host, George
I am adventurous, love to explore and see new things and collect memories that will stay with you long after you create them. I love good food, especially sushi, but would much rather eat at a great local place than some place mass marketed and impersonal. Favorite places I have traveled so far were Key West, San Antonio, Seattle, Boston and Europe (France and Spain). I have been to Vegas too many times to count, and all over the country as well but those places stick out. Live music is a great way to blow off steam, and anything outdoors is where you are likely to find me, especially when the weather is nice.
