Situated on a working ranch, this log home has a large master bedroom, 2 add'l bedrooms upstairs, gourmet kitchen & expansive outdoor areas for lounging, hiking, bbq'g & playing - all in the heart of Santa Ynez Valley wine country. Plus, world-class beaches nearby!

The space
This gorgeous log home built by Pioneer Log Homes of BC is situated on a private, secluded 44 acre ranch aptly named Hidden Canyon Ranch + Farms. A small vineyard sits on the Ranch and many animals call the Ranch home, from horses to chickens, goat & sheep. All live a safe distance from the house so you rarely hear them and never smell them!

The home was built & decorated with exquisite attention to detail throughout from the old barn wood floors to the tin ceiling in the half bath. The gourmet kitchen is stocked with dishes enough to serve 10, pots & pans, 2 types of coffee makers, a Blendtec blender, a KitchenAid stand mixer and all the basic kitchen tools you will need. The house has a large den with a pool table and smart tv. The living room has a river rock, wood burning fireplace. The master bedroom has a California king bed and its own bathroom with a river rock shower with 2 shower heads. Upstairs are 2 additional bedrooms with a full bathroom. Both have queen beds. The house also has extra twin mattresses in the closets, a pak n play with sheets and a full-sized air mattresses.

Sit on the deck that wraps around the house and take in the views of the hills, the vineyard & the oaks trees - an ideal spot for morning coffee or wine in the evening.

Large lawns surround the house and make an ideal spot for picnics, baseball or star gazing. Under the oaks you will find a hammock & gazebo with dining table & outdoor grill. There is even a little ranch store on the property where you can buy our organic produce, eggs and other ranch goodies.

The rolling hills surrounding the 44 acre ranch are studded with old oaks and have hiking trails for you to explore, with great views of local vineyards and even the ocean on a clear day.

We can help you to arrange a yoga class on the ranch or a private chef, wine tour drivers, massages and extra housekeeping services. Just let us know!

Where you’ll be

Lompoc, California, United States

In the heart of ranch country but at the same time in the heart of Santa Ynez Valley wine country. Hidden Canyon Ranch is true to it's name. Tucked away in the rolling hills of the Santa Rita Appellation, the Ranch has such famous neighbors as Melville & Babcock Vineyards/Wineries to the West and Foley Vineyard/Wineryto the East. Also just 10 short miles close to the Lompoc Wine Ghetto. And 13 miles to the tasting rooms of Solvang. Not to mention all the other wineries on the way there!

The area is also known for it's world-class cycling with the annual Solvang Century Bike Ride as well as numerous other cycling events. The Ranch is located right off of highway 246, one of the many cycling routes in the area.

There are also numerous stables in the area that will take you on incredible, scenic trail rides tailored to your level and experience. Ask us for recommendations to our favorites.

We also have nearby beaches - Jalama, Surf and Gaviota - to choose from on the warm summer days. As well as all of the Santa Barbara beaches less than an hours scenic drive along the coast away.
