Saint-Maur-des-Bois, Normandie, France

Set in rural Normandy the area is picturesque and incredibly peaceful. With no light pollution dark skies are stunning, the Milky Way clearly visible on a clear night.
Saint Maur des Bois is a small French village with pretty church and Town hall. There is an excellent boulangerie/patisserie 1.5km away in Chapelle-Cecelin and a bar and restaurant 2km away in Saint Cecile.
