Enjoyed every minute when staying at Peter and Gail's farm. It was a magic countryside experience and became the best part of my Australian trip. Peter and Gail are very interesting and intelectural hosts who have so many stories to share and tell. The house is big, bright, cozy and tidy. Wish I have stayed longer.
This was the second time I stayed with Peter and Gail although for one night only. I stayed in the Rose Room which was very comfortable and quiet. Peter and Gail are both very friendly and they love to have a chat. A few wild wallabys and one echidna were scratching around looking for food right next to the house and there were lots of birds in the garden. I think it is the best place to stay if you are coming to Inverell.
We stayed too short at this wonderfull farm with Gail and Peter. Such a cozy place with Incredible interesting hosts. Gail was very carering for all our needs. She made us really feel at home. Peter knows everything about travelling and history. Absolutely worth a visit.
I stayed for 2 nights and Peter and Gail were fantastic airbnb hosts with lots of interesting travel stories to tell. The farm is about 22 km out of Inverell, but it only takes a few minutes to get there, it is was definitely worth it. The bedroom was very comfortable and so quiet, even the possums didn't wake me up during the night.
Our stay with Peter and Gail was quite magical - a true Aussie countryside experience. We saw plenty of wild 'roos, spoke to local farmers as they tended their sheep, walked freely through bushy fields and gazed up at stunning starscapes at night.
But more than the location, you will no doubt be moved by the warm hospitality of Peter and Gail, who's kindness, wisdom and humour will make you wish that you'd booked yourself in for longer!
