The apartment is in an old brownstone on a main street in downtown Jersey City, only 10 minute train ride to Manhattan (train station is 4 short blks away).

The apartment has a small room with a futon that can fit one or two. And the living room has a queen size futon mattress. The kitchen has a table with two chairs and all the supplies you will need to prepare a meal.

The apartment is 15 minutes away (by foot) from Liberty Park where you can visit the Statue of Liberty and also the Liberty Science Museum. Lots of restaurants, bars and shops just blocks away.

A 15 minute walk will take you to the famous Hudson boardwalk with a beautiful view of Manhattan. On Fridays, stop by the Grove Station Plaza for a local artist market. Farmers market available on Mondays and Thursdays here as well with Jersey grown crops, and yummy prepared foods from local restaurants and food trucks (June - end of December).

If you're looking for something to read, I have many books to choose from. I also love cooking and having a glass of wine once in a while. Hoping to share with you soon!

The Creative Grove Market in Grove Plaza on Fridays from 2-10pm and the farmers market at Van Vorst Park on Saturdays.

  • Had another fantastic stay with Diana and Greg. Everything was smooth yet again and having stayed before it felt just like staying with friend. The apartment was nicely heated for the cold winter and was very clean again. Checkin and out was simple and Diana and Greg were very sociable again and even offered to share some food with me when I had just arrived. Hope to stay here again in 2014.

  • For a last-minute trip to the city, Diana and Greg were really quick to respond. Great apartment with a cosy vibe in a very safe neighbourhood! Having to walk from the metro in the middle of the night was not a problem at all as it's just a few blocks away. For anyone thinking that Jersey City isn't convenient to visit Manhattan, think again: totally worth it!

  • I enjoyed my stay with Diana and Greg. The room is small but not cramped and the apartment itself is very charming and has everything you need. Diana and Greg have obviously put lots of love into the little details to make this place as comfortable and unique as it is. They are very friendly and helpful but are very respectful of your privacy and independence. The apartment is close to the Path subway station which makes it easy to get into Manhattan. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

  • Great Hosts! Very friendly, gave me helpful advices. Loved to stay there. It's a very cozy and clean room and is enough for a single person. Another advantage is that it's close to Manhattan. It needs nearly 20 min to go to WTC by Metro. Would definitely go there again and recommend it to you all of you.
