Description

The space

Sedona Ashram is a really nice, open, sacred space with large rooms and bright energy!

is a great place to stay if you are interested in spiritual community, meditation, peace and quiet.

Nestled in a new community, in between Sedona and Cottonwood, and just off of Hwy 89A, Sedona has all the comforts of home in a modern setting that is a great base for enjoying Sedona, Cottonwood, Cornville, Clarkdale, Jerome, Prescott, Flagstaff and all of the Verde Valley.

The location is a perfect base for your trip, vacation or personal retreat.

With two private rooms and a shared bath, we can accommodate up two people at a time.

We have a team of spiritual practicioner affiliates at your service: Sacred Tours, Guided Meditations, Massage, Yoga, Nia, Psychic Readings, +++.

We look forward to your visit.

NAMASTE

Guests are welcome to use the entire house, including the kitchen, but please note that this is a vegetarian/vegan sacred space. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any pets, not even service dogs due to our contractual agreement with the landlord. There is also a Golf Course in the area.

We shall be delighted to help you find the services you desire in order to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, restaurants, theater, arts, and spiritual community. Breakfast and other catering and prepared food and drink are available upon advance notice. Please ask us for a quote.

While several people in the Verde Santa Fe Community, where this ashram is located, take in paying guests, we hosts are urged to do it discretely. So, if you should chat with any of my neighbors, please say that you and I are friends, rather than refer to yourself as a customer. Thanking you kindly.

Public transportation is available, but not very often, so it is strongly advised for our guests to have a car when visiting Sedona and the Verde Valley. We are a great base for your travels to Sedona, Cottonwood, Cornville, Page Springs (the wine country), Clarkdale, Jerome, Flagstaff and Prescott. You can even do a day trip to the Grand Canyon.

As mentioned above, we can arrange any type of spiritual professional that you may desire from massage to sacred tours. Just ask, and we can arrange everything before your arrival, so that you do not have to waste a minute trying to make appointments when you get here.

Welcome, honored guest. Having lived in and traveled to many places around the year for nearly 10 years non-stop (including India & Egypt), I feel a strong sense of what travelers appreciate.

While several people in the Community, where this ashram is located, take in paying guests, we hosts are urged to do it discretely. So, if you should chat with any of my neighbors, please say that you and I are friends, rather than refer to yourself as a customer. Thanking you kindly.

1. This is a vegetarian/vegan household. Do not hesitate to ask for advice on what to do in the Sedona/Verde Valley area, where to shop (on crystals and gems, etc.), where to get services (massage, psychic reading), things to do or see, and where to eat.

2.This is a gated community, so please contact us 24 hours prior to your arrival by email or telephone, so that we can arrange to meet at the most convenient time available. It is very important to have a car when visiting, as you will want to explore the entire Verde Valley.

3.Please park your vehicle in the driveway, as there is no overnight parking on the street.

4.When you check-out, please be sure to leave the key.

5.The rules of the community forbid children, smoking drugs, and pets inside or outside the house.

Staying with Joya was terrific! At first I was hesitant because I thought the distance from Sedona would be an issue for me since I'm used to staying in town. Was I ever wrong! Not only is her space nurturing, calm and beautiful but the drive wasn't an issue at all. It seems like it takes 5 minutes to reach town and what short drive there is, is direct and gorgeous. Joya was a wonderful kind, considerate host. She helped with directions and advised on events and places to see. Her home is super duper clean and the kitchen is laid out perfect and very well stocked. I didn't want for a single item. Joya is easy-going and offers as much privacy or interaction as one desires. I highly recommend staying here! I know I won't be staying anywhere else on return visits:) Thank you Joya, for creating a most sacred, healing space. Next time we'll watch a movie!
