A rare opportunity to stay in a Waco historic home - Peach House is a fully restored shotgun house on the rapidly revitalizing East Side of Waco. An elegant, quiet home where you can choose to stroll a mile along the river to the Baylor football stadium or cross the river on the historic suspension bridge for downtown restaurants, the trolley to Magnolia Market, and entertainment. Additionally - so close to Brotherwell Brewery, Revival Eastside Eatery and Street Dog Cafe. No children please.

The space
You will not find another place like the Peach House! Besides the simple beauty of the newly restored and totally updated home, you will appreciate the amenities and treats. Every visitor has a unique selection of goodies brought from Lula Jane's prior owner (ranked in top 100 US restaurants by YELP). The neighborhood is fully energized in revitalization efforts. Come share the excitement of change! (FYI: We meet and exceed all codes and requirements.)

Guest access
Guests will have the entire Peach House to themselves - including the beautifully landscaped private back yard. Enjoy the fire pit for evening gatherings, and have coffee on the screened side porch. Parking for two cars is provided off-street.

Neighborhood highlights

The neighborhood is rapidly being reinvigorated and the Graysons play a large role. This side of the river, the original downtown, fell into disrepair over the decades and is now becoming a truly desirable, sought after, walkable neighborhood: public library, schools, churches, river walk/suspension bridge, restaurants, 3 new upscale hotels, walking distance to downtown activities & restaurants. Come be a part of the change! (no pets at Peach House)

I am Nancy Grayson, a community developer of East Waco. I love the people and the environment on this side of the river. I also owned Lula Jane's (bakery/cafe) on the East side...providing the best chocolate chip cookies EVER! I enjoy meeting people. However, when I travel, I prefer the quiet town of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia.
