Beautiful, quiet, neighborhood. 20 min S of Sedona and 15 min north of Jerome (the wickedest city in the west). The bedroom has an aero bed, and the home has a second bathroom & secure parking. You will have kitchen and laundry privileges.
I am 20 min from the two most visited towns in the area. Sedona and Jerome. Jerome is an old mining town that was once called the Wickedest City of the West! Now it is great restaurants, art galleries, and fun bars. Your hostess is a skilled alternative healer with many years experience and is available to help you plan an itinerary that will make the most of your trip.
Kitchen, private patio, garage, a hall bathroom rarely used by anyone else. I have a laundry room where you can wash 1-2 loads of clothes. I can tape tv shows for you to watch at your leisure. The only off limits area is my own bedroom.
Interaction with Guests
perhaps a bit in the morning and a little in the evening. I am a metaphysical healer and teach many classes on the subject.
The neighborhood is beautiful and very quiet.
There is a bus stop nearby, and a car rental agency. Also a service that can take you to and from airports.
Other Things to Note
Finally, do not hesitate to call me about anything. (phone number hidden) There will also be a pad and paper in the kitchen if you want to leave me a note
Smoke outside, no pets. Checkin time is after 3pm, checkout is by 12 noon.
You make use the kitchen to cook your breakfast and I'll clear out a space to put your food. Please stack any dirty pots or dishes in the sink and I'll wash them.
You may do 2 loads of laundry per person.
My neighborhood prides itself on being quiet, and my neighbor and I share a common wall in the condo. Please keep noise to a minimum, both in the house and on the patio especially between 10pm -7am. Also we do get mosquitos in the warm weather, so its best not to leave the patio door open.
You may park your car in the garage but it can be a tight fit. Please pull all the way over to one side and be very careful pulling in and out.
Wolfie is my most prized possession. Because he is a terrier, he is brave and has a natural curiosity. If the door is left open even for a millisecond, he will be out and very, very difficult to get back inside.
There is a linen cabinet in the hall with additional blankets and towels if you need them.
I felt well received by Liz and her dog! the place was nice and clean and the bedroom was cozy.
I had a lovely time staying with Liz. She picked me up and dropped me off at the Cottonwood Arizona Shuttle office, and took me up to Jerome for a day visit, much appreciated since the distances require a vehicle to access the area and its treasures. I bused into Sedona on the local bus, which gave me a sense of real life, not the tourist bubble. We had great chats, Liz is an interesting and creative woman. My room was comfortable and her home welcoming.
Liz was great! Her dog Wolfie is a lot of fun and very playful! He is very quiet too, I only heard him bark one time. The whole house was very clean and in good order. Liz let me use her kitchen witch helped out a lot. She is a very friendly woman, and she is also very knowledgeable of the area, so she would be great for anyone visiting! My flight did not land until almost midnight and I didn't show up to Liz's until 2 AM. She set an alarm to wake up and let me in to her home. That was going above and beyond, and I am highly appreciative for that. Liz also offered to let me use her garage which was another great amenity at Liz's home. I would definitely return if I visit Sedona again! Thanks again Liz!
Liz made excellent recommendations about local attractions. Her house is clean and comfy, and her neighborhood is quiet. We slept really well during our four-night stay. She is a warm and generous host.
Rick and Karen BNiesanz
This was our first time using AirBnB and we Weren't sure what to expect. After staying with Liz for a week, I will most definitely be using this service again and would highly recommend staying with Liz. She is extremely helpful with information on where to go in Sedona and the surrounding Areas. She made us feel very welcomed into her home right off the bat, giving us space to put groceries, and even letting us use her garage. She's an exceptional host and a great person. If we return to Sedona, we will for sure be staying with Liz again.
I couldn't expected more frome Liz. She is such a nice person and always think about others need meanwhile still give others enough prive room. Liz thought after nearly 30hrs flight I may very tired so contacted with the shuttle bus company to know the routine and picked me up at the middle of routine and drove me home so that I could arrived at her home before 11:00p.m., it was a raining night, very helpful! And Liz also drove me looked around of Cottonwood and the nearly town and cities, shoppind fruits, vegetables, she has prepared enough materials about Sedona area traveling. When I asked questions from China or at the home she is always there.
The home is very clean, tidy, quiet, comfortable, etc.. the dog wolfy also very nice and cute. Liz helped me had very good time in Cottonwood and the begining of this vacation.
Thank you very much Liz. Love you
I love Liz's home and her little well-behaved Schnauzer named Wolfie! She lives in a fantastic one-floor townhome within a very nice community, with the most desirable open concept layout and a cute back patio. If i ever own a condo/townhome one day, that will be the kind of home i want to have! The airbnb guest room is very cozy with a private bathroom right outside the room door. I also have access to the kitchen to prepare meals if wished. Additionally, Liz even let me park my car inside her garage. What more do you want? :)
Great home aside, Liz is a fantastic host who is very easy-going and friendly, and i have enjoyed all my nightly conversations with her after a day of hikes around. Prior to my arrival, she has offered great tips and guidance on places to visit around Sedona/Cottonwood and surroundings and also kept in touch with me on my arrival time.
If i ever find myself in that AZ region again, I would not hesitate to live with Liz again in her home!
