Monica took us in dripping wet from the cold and rain and made us feel very cozy and at home. Monica is a wonderful host. We really enjoyed our evening talking with her and the delicious breakfast she gave us. Lastly, the views of the sea from her house are stunning.
Monica is a very nice person. The bedroom has à fantastic view on the ocean. Breakfast is wonderful.
Monica est très accueillante. Magnifique vue sur l'océan depuis la chambre.
Thank you Monica for your warm hospitality, our stay in your clean home was great and relaxing. The seaview is fantastic, and we slept very well in the very comfortable bedroom, just the song of the wind : a dream !!! The breakfast is excellent (delicious fresh fruit salad), and above all Monica is lovely, a real mom for her guests!
I recommend this adress for anyone looking Irish kindness and warmth. Merci encore Monica et sûrement à bientôt. Anne et Marc
Monica is a great hostess. We enjoyed our stay with her. The view out of the window is fabulous! She gave us very helpful travel tips. The breakfast with her homemade bread was delicious.
Monica was a most welcome host and made sure I had everything I needed during my stay. Her home was clean, bright and very comfortable with spectacular views from every angle. She made delicious brown bread and even made me a cake to take away for the next part of my holiday, which was so much enjoyed. (thank you!) I really enjoyed the peace and quiet of Monica's home, I felt I had all the space I wanted but also had lovely chats with Monica and learned about life on the Beara Peninsula. I would totally recommend Monica's home for your stay on Beara. The surrounding area is of course absolutely amazing.
The house and the location is perfect, but Monica is even better.
Really welcoming and friendly host.
Monica, thanks for being such a perfect host!
And as a special mention.... the homemade bread..... mouthwatering and yummy as we ever tasted before.
It was only one night, but we felt like leaving there for ages.... again Thanks!!
Monica was a great host. We enjoyed our stay at her beautifully located home very much. Her home-made breakfast was very delicious and enabled us a perfect start into our days. We experienced the conversations with her as an enrichement and recommend her highly.
About the Host, Monica
I am a retired Primary School teacher. I love my home which is small, simple and comfortable, on the shores of the Atlantic. I enjoy travelling; I do a house swap (or two! ) each year and thoroughly enjoy the experience. Meeting people of different cultures has always fascinated me. My adult children have all flown the nest but visit frequently.
