The stunning view, along with the fresh breeze that blows from the sea, infuse Sa Cruxitta B&B with an atmosphere of unforgettable harmony.
stop Portoscuso lays where Sulcis and Iglesiente meet, right in front of the islands of Sant’Antioco and San Pietro.
The ancient oaks bent by the northwest wind and the intense sent of Mediterranean shrub, welcome who enter the town through this wonderful coastline. An overview of imposing cliffs rising sheer from a blue sea that expands as far as the eye can see.
For its strategic position in the heart of a still savage Sardinia, Portoscuso is the perfect base to explore this charming region during all seasons. Here the natural beauty blends in with the ancient Nuragic traces where the more recent mining activities also speak of the islands past.
In the summer, along the coast from Capo Spartivento to Piscinas, you can explore wonderful bays still unknown to mass tourism. During the mild climate of Spring and Autumn, you can visit the interesting archaeological and mining sites of the area, savour the sensation of a solitary walk across unlimited sand stretches or simply immerse yourself in the vibrant and unspoilt nature.
Great location direct to the sea yet car is needed as Portoscuso itself is not worth seeing. However with a car it is a great starting point to got to Porto Pino or the island Sant'anotccio or the Costa del Sud. The room was ok but the house itself is very noisy. Carmen and Marco however are great hosts helping where they can. Carmen is a typical italian mama with a very big heart who made us feel welcomed and special. Many thanks to her. It was a great pleasure meeting her.
Marco and his Mom and friend are the best hosts ever! They help you to organize everything and they prepare a DELICIOUS breakfast every day. Furthermore, the room is nice, has a comfortable bed and a big bathroom. We spent one week there and can just recommend it! To discover the beautiful south-west coast you should definitively have a car as there is almost no public transport in Portoscuso. Go there, you won't be disappointed! :)
