A long term resident of The Hague, I live in a house in a nice area with my two teenage children (a girl and a boy).
Like to cook, love playing tennis and using my bike.
My work requires a great deal of traveling.

Dirty dishes prove I feed my family, full trash cans means I clean up after their messes, messy floors mean I let my children have fun, piles of laundry mean I keep my family in clean clothes, wet bathroom means I bathe my kids!
So the next time you walk into my house and see a "mess" think twice before you judge. If you come over to see us, come on in... if you are coming over to see my house, please make an appointment. Keep this going if you're a parent.. :)
Impossible to get rid of all the dust.
Will always try to make it as clean as possible !
You will like the Attic !

  • Cozy and comfortable attic with everything we needed in the quite street in 15-20 min walking from center of Haague, we lived there six together and it was mre than enough place for us. There is very useful opportunity to rent a bicycle to look around this quite nice green city. Unfortunately we didn`t have a chance to meet Albert, but his friend Irina met us, show us everything and Albert kept me in touch during our visit, so we had no problems to ask about something. There is one aspect - steep stairs to 3d story, for whom it may be impotant. Free wi-fi, fridge and kettle in attik, comfortable mattresses and warm blankets. So, don`t hiesitate to choose this place for visiting Den Haague and thank you, Albert!

  • We had a lovely stay!

The apartment is Reasonably close to the city centre (6-10min).

The room was spacious and pleasant.

The view out of the windows is also really pleasant. The backyard has Sakura trees that were in bloom at the time. Very picturesque!

  • Albert was absolutely fantastic! Had 12 postgrads staying briefly for an ICJ case. Albert made us dinner Sunday night and dealt with all our coming in and out with nary a complaint and many a helpful suggestion. Highly, highly recommended!!

  • I stayed on the attic together with 6 friends, to enjoy a lovely weekend in Den Haag. Location is perfect, walking distance from the city center, with a lot of breakfast places and nice little shops in the area of the appartment. The attic was for sure big enough for 7 persons, and we had all the luxury we needed!

  • Alberts attic is the perfect place to stay with a small group, conveniently situated in one of the nicest parts of the Hague (Zeeheldenkwartier) and close to the city center. Thanks for everything!

  • A lovely and central place to stay in Den Haag. We had a wonderful weekend with six people.

  • We had 10 wonderful days in Albert's attic whilst visiting family in Den Haag and in all that time we didn't want for anything. The attic is very well equipped, clean, spacious and comfortable. Albert was away for some of our stay but always checked in via email to make sure we were ok and if we needed anything, a truly wonderful host. There is wifi in the attic which is fantastic and there is a mini bar, kettle and tea and coffee making facilities. We were lovely and warm during our stay and we were all a bit sad when we left as we felt so at home there. When we come back to Den Haag we will definitely stay in Albert's Attic again! We also got some AWESOME Indian food cooked fresh in front of us from Chef India just down the street over the roundabout.

  • A very nice appartement in a quiet neighbourhood. 15 min walk to the center.

The appartement was clean and spacious and Albert was a very friendly host.

We had a little child with us (1 year) and because there was an open staircase in the middle of the room, we would not recommend it to people with small children.
