CENTRAL, ROMANTIC, STYLISH, CONFORTABLE, CLEAN, SAFE WITH AMAZING VIEWS.
Welcome to Avenida Apartment & Terrace, a charming, confortable apartment with a 360º river and city view rooftop terrace. Strategically located at the centre of Lisbon's centre it's only a few steps from glamorous Avenida da Liberdade and walking distance from the city's most popular areas, like Baixa, Chiado, Bairro Alto, Príncipe Real, Castelo and Marquês de Pombal. The subway station “Avenida” is right around the corner, as are the main bus-lines and Rossio train station.
The apartment is set on a 1940's building, which was entirely rebuilt in 2005. It's the perfect choice for those who prefer staying in a quiet area, but still only a few meters away from this vibrant city's epicenter. It's completely furnitured, with abundant light and very good vibes. It has an exclusive access to a terrace, with a 360º river and city view, that features a wooden deck and outdoor shower. It's like your own private urban beach, where you can have an unforgettable breakfast while enjoying a bit of sunshine or a sunset drink looking at the river.
The street, typically “lisboeta”, is very quiet and safe. In the next door gardens, sparrows and blackbirds sing all day. But if you wake-up thinking you're somewhere in the countryside, well think again, you're only 80 meters away from Lisbon's busiest Avenue, with its high-end stores, restaurants, antique shops, theaters and bars.

What a nice and warm welcome to the town of Lissabon. Tiago made us feel like home and had even supplied us with some local food (we arrived late in the evening, so had not have any dinner). The location of the apartment was just perfect and we could easily walk to the towns main attractions. If we ever visit Lissabon again, we will choose this place again!
I have nothing, but positive things to say about Tiago and his wonderful apartment. Tiago was a wonderful host! He welcomed us with cheese, bread, and local wine when we arrived. His apartment was clean, bright, and very central! Walking distance to metro which was a definite plus. Tiago provided us a lot of information on what to do/see/eat prior to arriving and in person. He also has a beautiful private terrace. Unfortunately, during our stay it was raining and we were not able to make use of it. Tiago, we will be back :) Muito obrigado!

The apartment was small, but very clean, comfortable, functional, and secure. The location was perfect for us to explore Lisbon. Having this accommodation made our first visit to Lisbon extremely enjoyable. Thank you, Tiago.

We had 4 really nice days at Tiago's place. The apartment was charming and cosy, perfect for us, Tiago was welcoming us with fruit, chees and local Wine, when we arrived. He had also made a folder with he's recomendations for restaurants, things to see etc. It was very usefull. The rooftop terrace was spectacular, even in January. We had our breakfast in the sun and the view from there is fantastic. We really hope to come back some other time. Lisboa is really worth a visit.
We had a splendid stay in Lisbon and Tiago was an excellent host. Prior to arrival, Tiago sent detailed directions to the apartment including what train and metro stops worked the best. The first night we were greeted and oriented to the apartment and neighborhood by Tiago. The greeting included a very nice "welcome box" of Portuguese treats which was much appreciated after a long day of travel. The apartment was cosy and well-appointed with everything you need. It was in a very convenient location, close to a metro stop and also walkable to other fun neighborhoods. Tiago also went above and beyond to help with a postal snafu, which was really helpful as we do not speak Portuguese. We will definitely visit Lisbon again and would love to stay again in Tiago's apartment!
It was great to stay at Tiago's place, we enjoyed it a lot. The appartment is very comfortable, has everything you may need, brilliantly located in the very center of the city still on a quiet lil street. Wish it was summer, the terrace is amazing. Thanks for everything, Tiago
I can't recommend Tiago's apartment highly enough. It is right in the middle of central Lisbon, and with walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. The apartment was very clean, cozy, and had amazing views of the city. It also has a washer and drier that was very useful. Tiago was very helpful, and responded immediately if we had any questions at all. He also has great recommendations of things to do around Lisbon.
If you're looking for an apartment for a short stay in Lisbon this is THE apartment. And Tiago is THE host.
It's central located, next to Avenida da Liberdade: you can easily walk almost everywhere, and the Underground is about 2 minutes walk.
It is not very big, but has everything you could need. Most amazing things are windows (the house is full of light) and the rooftop.
Tiago is a very kind guest. He speaks a fluent english and was always ready to help us for any of our needs, both before our arrival and during our stay (he answers almost real time to sms!). The day of our arrival (Christmas!!) he was at the apartment waiting for us with a piece of cake, a cheese, some fruit and a bottle of wine.
In addition he placed maps, personal notes and suggestions with restaurants/points of interest in the city and in the neighborhood.
The area is safe, and full of small restaurants.
I would recommend this solution for a visit to Lisbon not only to other airbnb users, but also to my friends.
My flight got delayed and Tiago was very understanding and accommodating and met me the next morning. He has a great book of recommendations which was extremely helpful. The welcome basket of wine, bread, cheese and fruit was such a nice touch and so sweet of him. The apartment itself is really comfortable and like everyone says, it's truly located in a central spot and I felt safe waking to/from there at night. It's really close to the metro which was easy to take. My first experience with airbnb and it was perfect!
The apartment is in a great location for exploring Lisbon by foot or public transport. It's also a very convenient base from which to do a day trip to Sintra. Tiago was in contact regularly before our trip, providing lots of information, including the best way to arrive from the airport (for €1.25!). His friend Sonia welcomed us & showed us around the flat so we knew how everything worked. Tiago has also put together a booklet of recommendations for places to eat & drink in Lisbon, which we really appreciated - it saved us a lot of research. And breakfast on the roof terrace was very pleasant way to start the day!
