Our Top Floor Seaside Apartment has 2 double bedrooms, lounge and kitchen and is steps from the Burrow Beach. It is near Howth fishing village and the famous Howth Head.
There are plenty of seafood restaurants and typical Irish pubs in the village. There is a market on Sundays. Howth is a popular area for birdwatching, walking, fishing and sailing,. Anything from cod to ray can be caught from Howth's rocky shore and seals are a common sight in and around the harbour. Howth is also a popular destination for cyclists and hillwalkers, particularly on weekends.
Our home is considered to be in one of the loveliest suburbs of Dublin,. We are on the train (DART) train line to Dublin city (22 mins) and the airport is approx 20 mins away.
We are within walking distance of one of Europe's premier winter birdwatchers' paradise - The North Bull Island.
Our house is on the beach and near the wonderful scenic Howth Head full of heathland walks, golf courses, and of course sea views and sailing We have an allotment on the hill and enjoy growing our own veg, own a few chickens and are keen on good food and good living.
Walking on the beach or on any of the signed heathland walks on Howth Hill is a big attraction in this area.,There is public golf course nearby. We have wireless Internet and free private parking. Travel cot, high chair and baby bath available if required.
Fiona and Paul treasure our guests and want to share our enthusiasm for our beautiful location.
We had such a lovely time staying in the apartment. Fiona was extremely helpful and kind, especially as we arrived quite late in the evening and also needed to stay a little bit longer on the last day. The apartment was well equipped, very clean and beautifully furnished.
Howth is a very pretty fishing village with a number of pubs, shops and amazing fishmongers. There is also a number of walks you can go on in Howth, not forgetting the beach which backs on to the apartment!
We would love to go back and stay for longer than just a long weekend!
Fiona was very welcoming, helpful and so polite even though our arrival was earlier than expected
The top floor had everything we needed and more, it was a delightful apartment.
We enjoyed the location it was a little out of town which meant it was wonderfully quiet but also convenient because it was close to the train station direct into Dublin and luckily near the beautiful harbor town Howth.
The reservation was canceled 86 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
What a beautiful little area outside of Dublin! It was a treat to stay here at the Seaside Haven Apartment. Fiona was very welcoming and provided us with contact numbers if we needed to help. We were comfortable and enjoyed the spacious apartment (2 adults and 2 kids). She had a baby cot with bedding available for us to use and a highchair too. Just a small critique: there was a bit more dust (and a pair of socks under the bed) and cobwebs to my liking, but with 2 kids, this wasn't much of a concern since we used the apartment well. Everything we needed was provided and the scenery was magnificent. It's a quiet area and the Howth village is great to visit. Thank you again! We were so glad to stay here.
The place was clean, cosy and the kitchen had all we needed. The views from the kitchen and one bedroom were amazing, we also explored Howth though it was raining and liked the village and the landscape very much. You can take a bus or train into the city. Fiona was very nice and so helpful! Would definitely recommend if you want a quiet place not too far from the city!
We loved our stay at Fiona's. The apartment was just lovely, very clean and spacious. The view of the beach in the morning was just wonderful. Fiona was very welcoming, very kind and helpful.
We had access to the beach iwithin two minutes from the house, and everything else was within a 10 minute walk. Howth is just a lovely place, the people are so friendly. Plenty of restaurants, great walks and things to discover. Loved the Pier during the day and in the evening. I fell in love with Howth and would stay there again should I have the opportunity to return to Ireland.
The apartment is very spacious and well-furnished. The kitchen has just about every appliance one could want. The apartment is located near to the sea so there are nice views but it's far enough from shops that you need to drive there. We were warmly welcomed and farewelled but otherwise left to ourselves which was fine. Highly recommended.
We had a very nice time at Fiona's place! Excellent location near the beach. Dublin center is easily accessible by the local train.
Excellent to have a relax holidays. I highly recommend this apartment.
I stayed here recently in this lovely part of Dublin with my Husband and baby Daughter. The apartment was perfectly located close to the Dart, for travelling into the City centre and only a 10-15 minute walk into Howth village.
The apartment was spotless and well equipped and is much bigger than the pictures would leave you to believe.
