Our Top Floor Seaside Apartment has 2 double bedrooms, lounge and kitchen and is a stone's throw from the Burrow Beach. It is near Howth fishing village and the famous Howth Head.
There are plenty of seafood restaurants and typical Irish pubs in the village. There is a market on Sundays. Howth is a popular area for birdwatching, walking, fishing, kite-surfing and sailing. Anything from cod to ray can be caught from Howth's rocky shore and seals are a common sight in and around the harbour. Howth is also a popular destination for cyclists and hill-walkers, particularly on weekends.
Our home is considered to be in one of the loveliest suburbs of Dublin. We are on the train (DART) train line to Dublin city (22 mins), the 31 Bus Service (25 mins) between Howth and the city centre and the airport is approx 20 mins away.
We are within walking distance of one of Europe's premier winter bird watcher's' paradise - The North Bull Island.
Our house is on the beach and near the wonderful scenic Howth Head full of heathland walks, golf courses, and of course sea views and sailing We have an allotment on the hill and enjoy growing our own veg, own a few chickens and are keen on good food and good living.
Walking on the beach or on any of the signed heathland walks on Howth Hill is a big attraction in this area. There is a public golf course nearby. We have wireless Internet and free private parking. There is a travel cot, high chair and baby bath in the apartment.
Fiona and Paul treasure our guests and want to share our enthusiasm for our beautiful location.
