  • We had a great time at the very well located Voyager. Justin & Don are great hosts and we will hopefully be back for recording our next album.

  • This was the first stop my husband and I made in decision we made so far! It was an amazing find for our price range !!

First off Justin&Don were very lovely and gracious host . From giving us an umbrella to insure my very fair skin was safe from the sun on our walks to the beach, to sitting down with us and helping us plan out the next steps of our trip and saving us from the mega clubs in Kuta ;)

Breakfast was nice and the coffee was amazing!

They offer a full menu at their new cafe. we didn't eat dinner there, but everything looked and smelled amazing!

Our room was perfect, cleaned daily and very charming :)

The staff was very friendly, accommodating and always had a smile on their face. You could tell they were happy on the job, which is really nice to see.

You can tell from the moment you're welcomed into The Voyager that Justin&Don have a lot of pride and passion for what they do . They genuinely care about their guests.

I would recommend The Voyager to the Bali moon and back ;)

  • The Voyager was a great place to stay and hang out. We loved the design of the hotel, very contemporary, but with respect to its tropical setting. Beautiful integration of local plants into the design. It's small, which we like, but not so small it feels claustrophobic - and thanks to some clever use of one way mirrors the tropical paradise (I mean plants) aspect is duplicated and multiplied throughout the hotel. Justin and Don were not just nice and helpful, they were also interesting and fun to chat with. Their recording studio made me wish I was more musically talented (who wouldn't want to record an album in Bali?), and their sense of style and aesthetic is praiseworthy. We had no idea what to expect when we booked the room, but once we got there we were very happy that we did. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer - I suppose we'll just have to go back.

  • I stayed at Voyager for 3 nights only - the compound was cozy and the staff there were so friendly. The minibar is always stocked which is nice... plenty of food options around the area too. close enough to the surf breaks and hangouts in tugu and echo beach (10 mins on scooter), yet quiet enough when you just need to chill.

  • Voyager is situated in a fantastic spot in Canggu... walking distance to the beach (about 10 minutes) and several great restaurants, and it's a quick scooter ride to the other parts of town... and although I did rent a scooter (it's just easier) I really liked having the option of getting some key places on foot.

I stayed in the small room, Coconut, and the room was comfortable with a really nice aesthetic. The room is situated at the back of the property and around the corner from the office and common space, so although the room is small you have your own outdoor patio and adjacent bathroom so your private area feels quite spacious. The bathroom is it's own separate room and has open-air on one side and one-way glass on a the other 3 so you can see out but no one can see in. This gives you a sense of actually being IN the gardens.. and the shower is uncovered. It's nicely structured. There is no AC in the room, but all the walls are sliding glass and with the nice breezes and the fan I was never uncomfortably warm. My only (big) complaint with the room is that it would have been really nice to have the makings for hot water/coffee/tea in the morning like all of the other places I stayed in Bali. This is really helpful for us early risers who need some hot liquid before breakfast service starts at 8am.

The pool and general dining area have a hip vibe (decor/music) and breakfast was delicious. The pool area was large with a ton of seating surrounding it, however I found it unfortunate that the lounge chairs were unadjustable and and terribly uncomfortable without any option of moving them from sun to shade, sitting to laying etc. It definitely limited my desired pool time.

Otherwise Justin and Don were helpful with all my questions and requests and as per usual in Bali, the entire staff was very friendly and accommodating. Overall, a fantastic spot and I would absolutely stay here again.

  • We had a great time at the Voyager. Relaxed yet beautiful with walking distance to Batu Balong Beach which was a nice. We went there with our baby and we really enjoyed the private jacuzzi. The only thing we might comment on is the babysitter that they arranged which was EXTREMELY expensive - more than double the price other places in Bali.

  • Voyager was really nice, with comfy rooms close to everything. I would stay again.

  • Great stay with Justin and Don at Voyager!
They're slap-bang in the middle of paradise, and a short scooter ride to the great beaches of Canggu, a stroll away from Due and Betelnut Cafe.
Not to mention the room was awesome!

  • Очень плохо! Завтраки скудные, комната не закрывается, случился факт воровства, украли ноутбук прямо из номера. В номере очень душно без кондиционера. Очень жаль потраченых денег и нервов.

  • I stayed in this lovely coconut bale in a private villa called the Voyager. It was my first time visiting Bali and what an experience it was. Staying in this Bale gives you the real taste of being an islander :) It is nice and clean, with an outside bathroom and shower, so you are taking a shower and looking at the beautiful trees around you. The room is exactly as it is on the picture, quite basic but comfortable. I had a great time, thanks Justine and hope you are feeling better.
