Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Winedown is a beautiful, constructed A-Frame built in 1967 and completely renovated in 2019 tucked in the North Cascades. As dawn turns to daybreak, there’s nothing more pleasant than being drawn from slumber by the sun light springing through the floor-to-ceiling glass windows and the sound of gushing water from Boulder Creek echoing through each surface of the property. Winedown is proudly a family-focused property that is scent and shoe free.

The space
The cabin is cozy and warm in the cold season with all of the Hygge feels. During the summer, open up the double doors to bring the outside in, and stay cool under the trees as you relax and cook on the large entertaining deck. Spend all day lounging in a hammock and get your R&R, or get out and adventure with hikes, fishing and kayaking just steps away.

The cabin is 100% off-the-grid! All appliances (stove, fireplace, refrigerator, propane lights, BBQ grill) all run off of propane. Electrical outlets, lights, and Wi-Fi run off our battery bank system.

Guest access
The Winedown cabin spans over 3 lots. The lowest lot hosts a campsite. When there are no guests present, you are welcome to enjoy exploring and relaxing beside the creek down there. The property the cabin is on as well as the trees in front of the cabin are your space to explore. Cascade River Park has parks and public walkways that lead to some fun places to check out. Please be respectful of others private properties while you explore.

Other things to note
Cell phone & WiFi service: T-Mobile seems to be pretty consistent against the other wireless services. We do have Starlink satellite broadband and WiFi service.

Hypoallergenic Friendly: We are strictly a shoe free house, and we do our best to keep this property scent free, your help is much appreciated. Please leave your cologne and strong scented products behind. The products we use are either scent free or scented with pure essential oils. The laundry and dish soaps are free and clear, and we use clean nontoxic cleaning products. Due to the challenge of finding scent free properties ourselves when traveling, we wanted to cater to people that need this kind of space for health.

We are family friendly and have many kid essentials on hand. For sleeping you'll find a pack n' play eith extra premium mattress and also a toddler inflatable bed with bedding. We have a high chair, kids eating utensils, baby gate/play pen, a fireplace guard, play mat, toys for baby and young kids and books, toddler potty seat, baby swing for porch, and sound machine.

Hi! Janna (Seattle native) and Chris (Texan) we decided to purchase this slice of heaven in 2018. Most weekends we flee the city and make our way up to the mountains with our 3 year old daughter and our dog Lucy. We love sharing our experiences of the North Cascades Mountains, our park community and the city of Marblemount with guests. We hope you grow to love it as much as we do.
