Description

The space

Shalom and welcome to my home :)

My name is micky and i love to have guests and meet people worldwide, to make you feel at home while you are in Israel, so of course we are going to share my home.
I have my bed room, the guests have their bed room and the rest of the house we share.

My apartment is in the center of Tel Aviv, 12 minutes walk from the train station to the airport, Haifa or Akko (Acre), 10 minutes from a direct bus to Jerusalem or Dead Sea, 4 minutes from Tel Aviv modern art museum, 2 minutes to Ichilov Hospital (Tel Aviv Medical Center) and Weizmann mall.
8 minutes from Rabin Sq. 15 minutes to Dizingof center, 15 minutes to Rotchild, 15 minutes from Azrieli mall + the indoor observation deck of TLV and 25 minutes from the beach.

My apartment is in a small street between Weizman street, Arlozrov, Iben Gvirol and Sderot David Hamelech.

There are many buses around my home, but TLV is a small town and you can walk everywhere, if you like....
or rent a bicycle in the "rent stations" and 2 are near my home, one on Weizman street and one on David Hamelech Bulv.

you can use the kitchen
my home is a free fast WiFi, you can use my computer if you don't have any..
I have towels, sheets, blankets, pillows...
I have Hair dryer if you need.
I offer my guests different kinds of Tea/Herbal Tea with brown sugar/white sugar or honey and "mud coffee" an Israeli way of doing coffee (strong and tasty).
no need to buy mineral water, as i've bought a water "mini bar" which gives cold water, room temperature and boil water.

I have an extra bedroom for guests with a very comfortable orthopedic bed which can open for 2.
guests can put their clothes in the 5 big shelves of the Cabinet + hanging clothes on the "hat stand".
there is an air conditioner and a ceiling fan in your room.

we share the bathroom and the living room.

I live on the third floor but there is an elevator if you have an heavy suitcase.
there are 8 steps from the elevator to my apartment.

I have maps and a lot of information about TLV and other towns and if I'm free, I can even be your guide on Friday, a day I don't work.
I love to walk and to show my guests TLV and Yaffo, (if you feel like, of course!)

I'm living on my own, traveled for many years around the world, now-a-days due to my work in the hospital (across the street), my vacation are too short and i'm always happy to meet new people from different countries.
I like when my guests feel like at home. "home away from home"

There is a supermarket in Weizman center across the street which is open till 10PM and 2 supermarkets in Iben Gvirol street across Rabin sq. which are open 24 hours a day!
in Weizman center, you also have Aroma coffee, and different kinds of food like Chinese, Japanese, or "on the fire" as we say in Hebrew for different kind of meat in Pita with Humus etc..

I don't smoke and it's a non smoking home!

it's very important for me that you'll be a trustworthy, honest and clean person.
if you use the kitchen, please wash your dishes and leave it clean.
don't bring visitors and respect my home please.

i'm not always able to answer right away, as i'm very busy at work, i do check morning, noon and evening.. so please be patient, as i'll always answer :~}

thank you
micky

Whatever you like to know please ask me, i'll be happy to answer any question or help you with finding buses, trains, places etc.
I love to get to know my guests, whenever we are free to chat, i can even show you my town when i'm free or point you out about some places tourists don't know.
I work 5 days a week - Sunday to Thursday from 13:15 to 20:30 more or less..

Micky herself is a keen traveler so she definitely knows how to make her guests stay comfortable. She started to communicate actively even before we came to make sure we'll find her place easily and gave us as many information on what to see, how to get most of TLV and how to organize our trip back to the airport as it was Erev Simchat Tora. The location itself is perfect - near to Arlozoroff bus terminal, train station, shopping center and city center. I would definitely recommend Micky's place to everyone. Toda raba, Micky.

Micky was an extremely friendly and accommodating host. She always took the time to look up directions and write down bus stops in Hebrew so I'd be able to show the driver and get off where I needed to. The location of the apartment is very central as described and I found myself being able to walk pretty much everywhere in Tel Aviv as long as I had the energy :), still the bus stations were easy to access and train station as well for getting around the rest of Jerusalem. The room was a nice small room with a twin bed, nightstand, dresser, coat rack, and A/C (which was very important to me). Micky was very kind to change out the sheets every week and provide a new towel. She also helped me do laundry when I asked. She very much respects your privacy, which was very nice as I'm a bit of an introvert, but is always down for a conversation about traveling or just small talk. Bottom line, the room is simple but perfect for getting around and traveling.

Practical location nearby train station in case you're traveling a bit in-country. Not in a hip cafe area (which may be a plus or minus depending on one's interests). Micky helpful with directions, laundry, etc.

Micky made me feel very welcome and comfortable. Her apartment is cozy and beautiful decorated with art. It is very peaceful and quiet both in the apartment and in the neighborhood. The apartment is perfectly located for easy travel in Tel Aviv as well as throughout Israel since it is just off of a central street as well as close to the bus station. I would definitely stay here again. There is an elevator and air conditioning. Micky is a lovely person who also speaks Spanish and English. I would totally recommend this listing!! I stayed here for a week and was completely satisfied. Micky helped me find the places that I needed to go and which buses to take. She also helped me on the phone when the airport lost my luggage. Overall 5 stars goes to Micky! Toda raba!! Gracias!
