We stayed in the apartment for two nights before embarking on a road trip. Eoin was extremely helpful providing advice and pointers that helped us plan our trip. Even though Eoin and Cecilia were abroad at that time Eoin made sure we will get everything on time, delivered with a smile and helpful advice by one of his associates. The apartment was spotless, exactly as described and stacked with tea, coffee etc. The apartment's manual included everything you needed to know in case you forgot something, plus cards for the tram (nice!). One thing to note if you are arriving in the summer like us is the lack of heavy curtains in both rooms to block early morning sunshine when you are jet legged. We improvised and hung blankets (not perfect but did the job). Overall, a great place in a great location with a perfect host - highly recommended. Thanks for having us!
Although he and Cecilia were leaving for Africa the next day, Eoin took time out of his packing to greet us and assure us that his sister was also keeping an eye on things. Eoin is a kind, attentive and helpful host. All the little details are there (Public transport cards, maps, guides, hairdryer, bread, milk and tea, etc). The flat is spotless, light, room with two spacious bedrooms and spotless bathrooms. The galley kitchen is excellently equipped. Do not be put off by the seeming distance to the city centre. It is a 15 minute walk and five minutes on the tram. Overall, an excellent host in an excellent apartment in an excellent location
Perfect hosts and apartment - I cannot recommend it highly enough! The location is ideal, just a short walk from O'Connell Street and close to the train and bus stations. The apartment itself is beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay. A little welcome package was also left for us and was very much appreciated! Eoin and Cecilia were very helpful in giving us directions and all the information we needed.
We really enjoyed our stay and I would definitely book again. Thanks for having us!
We very much enjoyed staying at this apt for our stay in Dublin. The hosts were very helpful with instructions and setting us up with all the essentials and conveniences of home. The kitchen was stocked with coffee, tea, milk, butter, fresh and beautiful bread and the apt even had multiple plug adapters. There were also "leap cards" for our use that function beautifully for using the rail system and makes a trip out to Howth or Dun Laoghaire very simple (and very fun). The apt was super clean and had plenty of nice towels, toiletries, and all appliances (like hair dryer, toaster, etc) for our use. We had perfect weather and enjoyed having tea and wine out on our balcony.
Perfect apartment and hosts. Communication was very smooth since the beginning. The place is well located, you can find anything you might need, a drugstore, supermarket right across the street, public transport and more.
Beds are super comfortable and the showers were great (pressure and temperature) . The entire apt was very clean, is perfect to spend a good time in Dublin. 100% recommended.
Thank you Eoin and Cecilia!
We highly recommend Eoin and Cecilia's Dublin apartment. Located in a newer neighborhood on the north side of the River Liffey, it offers a central, convenient location combined with a very comfortable, well appointed accommodation. We felt like we were staying at a friend's apartment since the fridge had enough stapes to make us feel at home: cheese, juice, breads, cookies, etc. We were told to use whatever was there. The apartment is very clean and the bedding very comfortable. The neighborhood teems with business people during the day but still has enough of a residential component to offer good basic amenities in the way of pubs, restaurants, convenience stores, etc. Eoin was always very responsive in communications and was really helpful in providing information on best ways to reach the apartment from the airport, restaurants in Dublin as well as suggestions on the scene in Galway where we traveled later in the week. Quit reading these reviews and book this place!
Eoin and Cecilia's apartment is an ideal location to visit the city. Only a 15 minute walk into the main city Temple Bar, O'Connel St etc). The airport coach drops off a very short walk away. The apartment has everything you could need and is immaculate. Eoin gave us lots of really useful information regarding travel from the airport, recommendations where to eat and there is a manual in the apartment with all the information regarding the apartment as well as tourist leaflets and take away menus. I cannot fault our experience and would highly recommend staying here. If we visit Dublin again I wouldn't hesitate to contact Eoin to see if it would be available. Thank you Eoin!!
