Perfect hosts and apartment - I cannot recommend it highly enough! The location is ideal, just a short walk from O'Connell Street and close to the train and bus stations. The apartment itself is beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay. A little welcome package was also left for us and was very much appreciated! Eoin and Cecilia were very helpful in giving us directions and all the information we needed.
We really enjoyed our stay and I would definitely book again. Thanks for having us!
We very much enjoyed staying at this apt for our stay in Dublin. The hosts were very helpful with instructions and setting us up with all the essentials and conveniences of home. The kitchen was stocked with coffee, tea, milk, butter, fresh and beautiful bread and the apt even had multiple plug adapters. There were also "leap cards" for our use that function beautifully for using the rail system and makes a trip out to Howth or Dun Laoghaire very simple (and very fun). The apt was super clean and had plenty of nice towels, toiletries, and all appliances (like hair dryer, toaster, etc) for our use. We had perfect weather and enjoyed having tea and wine out on our balcony.
Perfect apartment and hosts. Communication was very smooth since the beginning. The place is well located, you can find anything you might need, a drugstore, supermarket right across the street, public transport and more.
Beds are super comfortable and the showers were great (pressure and temperature) . The entire apt was very clean, is perfect to spend a good time in Dublin. 100% recommended.
Thank you Eoin and Cecilia!
We highly recommend Eoin and Cecilia's Dublin apartment. Located in a newer neighborhood on the north side of the River Liffey, it offers a central, convenient location combined with a very comfortable, well appointed accommodation. We felt like we were staying at a friend's apartment since the fridge had enough stapes to make us feel at home: cheese, juice, breads, cookies, etc. We were told to use whatever was there. The apartment is very clean and the bedding very comfortable. The neighborhood teems with business people during the day but still has enough of a residential component to offer good basic amenities in the way of pubs, restaurants, convenience stores, etc. Eoin was always very responsive in communications and was really helpful in providing information on best ways to reach the apartment from the airport, restaurants in Dublin as well as suggestions on the scene in Galway where we traveled later in the week. Quit reading these reviews and book this place!
Eoin and Cecilia's apartment is an ideal location to visit the city. Only a 15 minute walk into the main city Temple Bar, O'Connel St etc). The airport coach drops off a very short walk away. The apartment has everything you could need and is immaculate. Eoin gave us lots of really useful information regarding travel from the airport, recommendations where to eat and there is a manual in the apartment with all the information regarding the apartment as well as tourist leaflets and take away menus. I cannot fault our experience and would highly recommend staying here. If we visit Dublin again I wouldn't hesitate to contact Eoin to see if it would be available. Thank you Eoin!!
My stay in Dublin was great. The apartment is so comfortable and clean. The bedrooms are big, and the bathrooms are done nicely. In the living room there are Lots of windows for sunlight. The kitchen was stocked with bread butter, jams. There's a marks and spencer right across the building. The apartment is located close enough to the 'city centre'. There's good transportation to nearby places like the train station and the mall.
There's plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby.
Eoin and Cecilia were both very friendly and kind enough to adjust with times as our flight got in early.
Very good place, very good interactions with Eoin and Cecilia. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this
My family of 4 (kids ages 6 and 4) stayed here for one week while I was in Dublin for a conference at the Convention Centre. We found it to be the perfect home base to get to the CC just 1 block away and for the family to explore Dublin. The residence is literally on the Luas line and nestled above a large number of shops and restaurants in Mayor square as well as two grocery stores (Fresh across the street and Marc & Spencers). The apartment is really well laid out with all the amenities - one Queen size bed, two singles in the second bedroom, and a pull-out if there is an additional guest. Also, fully stocked kitchen and quite a few food items - cereal, tea, butter - available if needed and very helpful as supplements. The owner is also very well organized and left a binder of information about the apartment and surrounding area as well as a stack of brochures on local activities and use of Luas cards that we could add funds to as we used them. It really is the perfect location if you want to explore Dublin city centre and we couldn't ask for a better place! Thanks Eoin!
About the Host, Eoin & Cecilia
We're an active couple with adult children who spend our time between Dublin and beautiful Connemara on the west coast of Ireland. We love the outdoors, whether gardening, cycling, walking, kayaking or fishing! We also enjoy good wholesome food and the company of friends. We like to think of ourselves as adventurous and open, and we've been fortunate to have visited many parts of the world and love meeting people of different experiences and cultures. We enjoy sharing our experience of what both Dublin and Connemara have to offer visitors to our beautiful country.
