Always here for my guests and always aim to please.
Peace, tranquility, beautiful walks, great woodland, always changing river and a charming village.
There are two bus services per day between New Ross and Kilkenny..
No rules, but appreciate the civilities. There is a hotel in Wicklow which has a sign in its gardens, 'Ladies and gentlemen will not, and others must not, pick the flowers'.
Staying at Michaels house felt like coming home!;-) Michael is a very kind, interesting and humorous man and his house is cosy and clean. Thank you Michael!! I enjoyed talking to you!
Michael is situated in a nice and small village. He welcomes so kindly and warm. You can feel as friend with his company, enriching and opned discussions.
Room and facilities were really good and Michael is a nice hoste. And his breakfast is prepared with such kindness.
Thanks very much, Mickeal, and take care!
The short version: Delightful!
The long version: Michael’s place is charming, situated smack dab in the very cool village of Inistioge. Michael himself is equally charming and obliging, and we really enjoyed meeting him – in fact, we skipped a nightcap at the pub in favour of a chat with him. He’s very interesting and knowledgeable about history, art, and the ad business. Michael made us a lovely breakfast to start the day off right. Wifi worked smoothly and shower was hot. The location is outstanding - right by the river and close to a zillion pubs. Overall, a great stay off the beaten path – we’re glad we chose Michael’s place. Thanks Michael!
inistioge is a quaint and pictureque village with lovely river and forest walks which are well worth a visit
We had a great stay with Michael in his lovely apartment! He accommodated our evening arrival time and was very welcoming. Michael told us about the area and recommended a nearby walk to see the beauty of the town and river. His cooking is great: he made us a delicious breakfast in the morning. The apartment wireless works well, the shower is easy-to-use, and the room is spacious and comfortable. The town itself is about a half hour southeast of Kilkenny on back roads (or on the motorway). In short, a great stay true to the photos, with a wonderful (and funny) host.
