The 1 min. access to the to railway station (S-Bahn) is particularly convenient. The service to Zürich is every half hour, 7 days a week until after midnight and takes 21 minutes. Because of the excellent public transport, you can get around easily without a car.
The apartment is also convenient to the motorway network with access to Zürich and all regions of Switzerland.
Other Things to Note
The apartment is fully equipped, serviced, quiet, self contained and practical for anyone needing to spend a couple of months comfortably in Zürich.
The apartment is part of a condominium of private residents. This means that you can be sure of a quiet and comfortable stay as the house regulations include:
-Night quiet period after 10 p.m. (as defined by Swiss law)
-No unidentified visitors or businesses involving reception of associates, clients etc.
-The entire property is a completely 'non-smoking' environment. Sorry, but we do not accept pets.
These and other local requirements are in a contract addendum, which does not involve any cost over and above what is usual in Switzerland for longer term lets (e.g. insurance, registration with the commune, proof of employer etc).
They are also very fair and you are referred to my references for confirmation of this point.

Had a excellent stay in Deasun's apartment in Oberrieden, and felt very at home there. The neighbors were very warm and friendly to us as well, which helped us feel welcome. The apartment itself is quite well out-fitted. For instance, I appreciated having a computer power cable with the correct plug available, when I misplaced my adapter for a week or so. The apartment is conveniently located near the train station, but of course that means that you do also hear train and road traffic. We really enjoyed the incredible view from the apartment out over the Lake, and down to the mountains.
We absolutely adored staying in this lovely lake view apartment and could not have asked for more. The apartment is in a pristine, quiet location with stunning views yet very close to the train station which makes it easy to get practically anywhere else in Switzerland with Zurich mainstation just 20 minutes away.
Deasun was a welcoming and very helpful host that made sure we had everything we needed, showed us the area, taught us how to use the train, and was available for any questions we had.

We can't speak highly enough of our experience. Deasun is very helpful with any local information you might need. The place is perfectly located for either sightseeing or business in and around Zurich. The lake alps views from the dining table are terrific and the station is literally 200 metres from the apartment with two trains every hour to central Zurich (17 mins to Zurich HB). The apartment itself is spacious, fully equipped, spotless and immaculately kept which made staying a real pleasure. For those wanting a 20 min hike and a BBQ there is a terrific public BBQ spot (just bring your food and charcoal) up the Mountain with great views of lake Zurich and the Alps.
We have stayed at Deasuns accommodation in Oberrieden, Zurich. Deasun is a terrific man, made us feel very comfortable and was able to help us settle into Switzerland. His apartment in Oberrieden has magnificent views of the Lake, only a few minutes walk to the train station which arrives in Zurich HB in 20 minutes and 5 minute walk to the local supermarket. I can very much recommend Deasun as being a genuine, trustworthy man, and his apartment perfect for a temporary stay in Zurich.
I consider myself lucky to have found Deasún on AirBNB. With relatively short notice, he was able to accommodate my financé and for a 2 month stay. Our accommodations in Switzerland were perfect. Deasún met us personally on the first day to show us around. He also shared his knowledge of the area - which was very useful for us as newcomers. The apartment itself is spacious and bright and fully equipped. It is only a 2 minute walk from the lovely Oberrieden beach, trains, busses and boats.
