  • The apartment is in a very good location with the subway station and supermarket nearby. It's very convenient, clean and comfortable. Four of us enjoyed our stay very much and we would definitely stay there again if we come to Seoul again.
    Thanks Jay!

  • It was an overall pleasant stay at Jay's place. Fits perfectly for the 3 of us, with everything that we need like the fridge, washing machine, vacuum cleaner and the small cooking area. Being just opposite seoul station & lotte mart makes it alot more convenient for travellers. A small issue would be the water for shower. The warm water will turn cold after a while during usage and you have to wait a few secs before it returns to the warm temp. But it's okay as we got used to the 'pattern' very quickly. And jay was a nice host who replies to my questions very promptly during my stay at seoul. Thank you for the nice cozy home! :)

  • Enjoyed my stay at Jay's duplex! It was cozy and comfortable. Jay and his wife are nice and helpful. It was mentioned in the house menu that a one time emergency call is rendered (he'll pick you up when you get lost!) which I find very thoughtful.
The place is very conveniently located, about 5mins walk from Seoul station where Lotte departmental store and Lotte mart are. It is also clean, well maintained and equipped with kitchen amenities. There are convenience stores and local eateries nearby too. The added bonus is Jay provides free usage of portable egg (wifi) which was very useful for us while traveling around.
Highly recommend Jay's duplex and will definitely go back if I travel in Seoul again.

  • Great location for anyone visiting Seoul. It's so close to both the metro and the airport express stations. Just 100 metres. A large shopping centre across the road which has a huge supermarket .
    Definitely recommend Kay's apartment..
    We also arrived a
Little early and Jay's wife met us at the train station and let us store our bags at the apartment while it was being prepared.

  • Stayed at Jay's for 4 nights with a friend. Second time staying at Jay's and will be book with Jay again next time. Like last time no disappointments, had a pleasant stay. He upgraded and added some new furniture since last time I stayed (September 2012). Oh and somehow I missed the part online that the duplex comes with a pocket WiFi (yes! Saved me some money to rent one at the airport. As always Jay is a great host, willing to help and efficient on replying to us.

We took the "All Stop" train from the airport. The one way fare was around 4,000 won. I think it took around 50 mins.

Jay met up with us at Seoul Station KTX exit #4(by the convenient store I think its G25) and he brought his super adorable daughter along. The duplex was less than 5 mins walking distance. He told us how everything works around the duplex.

The duplex is very spacious for 2 people with luggages laid out. (We had 4 luggages and 2 carry-ons)

The amenities at the duplex worked well.
There's everything you need. From pots and pans to laundry detergent. I even cooked a meal at the duplex. Got kind of confused on how to turn on the gas stove. TIP: Be sure to turn on the gas on the pipe by the sink before turning on the stove. Oh and another tip be sure to give the washing machine door another push when closing or it won't start.
I should mention there's 3 umbrellas in the shoe closet in case you were planning to bring one. The bed is too firm for my back but no worries there's mattress toppers available.
The front building doors are locked after 8pm so be sure to carry the front door badge with you all times. (Lesson learned: I went to the convenient store downstairs and had to wait til other residents to come back)

Location is one of the major concerns when I look into booking a place.
Is it easy accessible from/to airport? Yes!
Is there food nearby? Yes! Korean restaurant downstairs and a food court across the street (in Lotte Mart)
Is public transportation nearby? Yes! Taxis are always downstairs and 5 mins walk to subway station Line 1 & 4.

Had a wonderful stay at Jay's and we will be back hopefully soon!

  • Jay and his wife Jessi were really friendly and helpful. Jessi came to pick us up from Seoul Station and the duplex was located less than a 5 min walk from the station. Very convenient, clean, well-furnished, spacious, and comfortable.

We really appreciated the flexibility Jay showed us as it made our stay so much more convenient!

    Highly recommended!

  • Good location in the city, easy to access all sight-seeing stations. Small but cozy (super low ceiling in the futon room). Overall good experience.

  • Jay was a very responsible host who received us at Seoul Station and personally brought us to his duplex. Communication was good as he could converse pretty well in English. He explained things clearly and even gave us suggestion on the Kid's Cafe -I Like Dalki (Strawberry) at Times Square which my boys enjoyed. His duplex is pretty well equipped. The location is a plus plus as it was just a stone throw away from Lotte Mart which closes at 12 midnight and from the Seoul Station. Definitely a place I would come to if we visit Seoul again. Thank You Jay!

  • You get what you see in the posted photos by owner. A cosy and comfortable place that is conveniently located at Seoul station. It's just right opposite Lotte Mart and with restaurants and convenient store right below the building. Owner is a friendly and helpful host that provided us the advice that we need. Thanks Jay for everything :)

A Global Management Strategy Consulting Firm >> Major Oil Refining Company in Korea
Love travel and want more !!! I like to travel around the world. Working for a global management consulting firm for the past couple of years, I had chances to visit places like Sao Paulo, Beijing, Koln, Boston, San Fancisco, etc. And my list for places I want to visit is endless. When I get married, I promised to my lovely wife that I'll get her to Serengeti, Antarctica and Patagonia someday. Anyone who has been there, please do share your experiences and I'd be more than happy to hear them. Enjoy visiting new and hip restaurants in Seoul !!! I always carry lists of the finest restaurants in Seoul in my iPhone. I love all different kinds of foods including Chinese, Thai, Indian, Japanese, and Italian. If you are not familiar with the city, please ask me and I'd be pleased to recommend you a nice restaurant nearby or in downtown.
