LEAVE NO TRACE!
"Leave no trace" is the only rule of the place.
Please do like at home. But please, keep in mind that this home is shared by other people all the time. It doesn't take a lot of efforts to have a clean, tidy, calm house, if everybody collaborates...
So "leave no trace" means... leave no trace!
If you cook, leave no trace.
If you take off your boots... don't leave them in the way.
And if you walk with it on the floor during the Winter : leave no trace!
Same thing if you're having the shower of your life : leave no trace!
When you leave... empty your fridge space or give it to the roomies!
And if it is late, around 10-11PM, in the lobby... sound is considered as a trace.
Please be quiet and kind to the other people who live in the house who may sleep. And please tell to others they should remain quiet if they are feeling too much social around our marvelous bar! ;)
As you can see, there are uncountable ways of leaving no trace. There are more and more and more... but we can't write them all here. That wouldn't sound fun and would be useless. Why? Because leave no trace is a logic way of living. It is a way to respect the the life space of others, a way to share without hurts.
So please, leave no trace :)
And everything will be fun and fine!
Otherwise... you are free to do whatever you like inside the house... except smoking, playing with bare fire, and running naked (although it could be tolerated)...
See ya in da house :)
Noemie was lovely to deal with! She was always prompt and detailed when answering our questions, and was still very welcoming when we arrived to the apartment far later than expected!
It seems like there have been a few changes to the apartment from what the pictures show, but nothing major - the impression of the place is still the same. And it is absolutely adorable!! There were multiple bedrooms in the apartment where other travelers where staying, and then a nicely decorated common room with lots of seating area, and a great little kitchen. The bathrooms are shared, but also very nice. Noemie also stocked the bathrooms with all the toiletries you could possible need (just bring toothpaste and brush!) and provided towels, bedding, etc. The apartment is extremely spacious.
We found the location to be ideal. The apt leads out onto a bustling, artsy street in the Gay village. There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants around to keep one busy. We also found it to be easy walking distance to downtown Montreal and Old Montreal - both of which were lovely. There was lots of activity going on during our stay - festivals, music concerts and so forth all right at our front door!
We definitely recommend staying here. Great host, great apartment!
Thank you !
Every thing was clean, perfect and very quite.
Nice place with a lot of space !
This is a very, very big room in a cool apartment, in a convenient location. Noemi is a great host, very helpful and friendly.
The neighborhood is special. I, personally, loved it; it's lively and beautiful and very well connected, but some people would probably be scared of the crazy and/or homeless people that populate the area. They seemed pretty inoffensive to me, though, and there are cops everywhere so it still feels pretty safe.
I've stayed in many hostels and places in Motreal, and this one was my favorite. Thanks for all, Noemi!
The reservation was canceled 30 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Super loft !
My partner and I stayed in the loft bedroom for two nights and absolutely loved it! The room wasn't exactly as we saw in the pictures but were satisfied nonetheless especially with the size and location. Flo and Anne were very helpful with any questions we had and being on Saint Catherine's street made it very easy for us to shop, eat and experience the city. Berri UQAM station is very close which allows for quick access to other places of interest in the city.
Even though we stayed here on a weekend and the place is located right on Saint Catherines street the nights were relatively quiet. Most of the pedestrians and street performers were off the streets by midnight.
Having access to free wi-fi was great as we were able to plan out last minute itineraries for our trip and get directions to places we wanted to go.
We would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to others as well.
We loved our stay at Michel's artsy apartment. We were given perfect directions to find the place, greeted immediately and the place was cozy, clean, and perfect for the needs of our group. The place is in the heart of the village, decorated beautifully for summer, close to everything, and everyone was really nice. We would stay again.
