We have 4 couples and went to the condo for a ski weekend. It was wonderful, the house is perfectly sized for us and we had a good time there, the kitchen has everything we need and we didn't need to bring anything. Killington is 40 mins away which is not bad if the small ski slope is not enough for you. Def recommend this place for a ski group.
The condo was spacious in a great foliage-surrounded location near Quechee. Unfortunately the positives end there. Very well-worn - the sofa was so stained and worn down I didn't even want to sit on it. Several doorknobs coming out of doors, dirty worn carpet, nail holes rampant where decoration used to be. While we had accommodating hosts, to me the benchmark of a strong airbnb experience is that the owner treats it like their own home if it isn't. This did not feel like a home at all. Felt more like the sort of place some frat boys would spend a summer.
We had a wonderful stay at Benjamin’s condo. We were only two people and used the upstairs bedroom/ loft area, but there was ample room for 6 more guests. The house is located up a long, windy mountainous road about an eight minute drive from town with other attached and neighboring homes in the vicinity. The kitchen is very well stocked housing plenty of linens, towels, dishes, utensils, pots& pans, baking wear, spices, heavy duty cleaning supplies. Bring your own dish detergent. You will also need to bring bathroom amenities, ie: body soap, shampoo as well as laundry detergent.
The house is courteously equipped with working wifi and TV. The sun deck off the living room has a coal barbeque (buy your own coal.) A gas barbeque exists, but it wasn’t connected or working.
Overall the house was very comfortable and definitely a place where you can go to relax.
Ben was an extremely responsible communicator
8 of us (3 couples and 2 single guys) stayed here for a wedding, and it was perfect! The condo was clean, in a quiet area, easy to get into, and Ben was available for questions. I especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and the empty refrigerator when we arrived. Nota bene: The house is not actually on a lake; "Quechee Lakes" is just the name of the properties. Having a GPS was important out where the house was, but reception was great and Wifi is available. Highly recommended for a group or a large family!
The condo is situated in a nice area with lots of amenities. The condo is very well equipped with all that is needed for a pleasant stay. Ben was also very helpful in giving us timely information to make our stay the most comfortable. We had a great time.
Great place to stay - very convenient and Ben was easy to reach and helpful.
