Unique, Authentic, 1940’s log cabin in Bass Lake. Tucked up a hill above the lake, a sweet place to hang out at end of your Yosemite or lake day. Rustic logs, big porch with rocking chairs, gas fire table, big cedar dining table, hammocks, bbq, ping pong table, easy walk to pines village, marina, Duceys. People love it and we hope you stay with us and love it too!

Not recommended for children under 8!

The space
We sit on a hill across from the lake. The cabin is on property that is used for wilderness/backpacking program that we oversee in summer months but we do not rent lodge on days we have groups gearing up to backpack. We do have a staff dwelling on the property where property managers live. Fences separate and Everyone keeps their privacy. Our rustic lodge is a true hand-hewn historic log cabin that was built in the 1940’s. We have been renovating it while trying to keep its charm. The cabin is one big great room with private bedrooms at one end of the lodge, kitchen and bathrooms on the other. There is a small library/tv room with couch, A full large open kitchen with 2 stoves and ovens. It does not have a dish washer but commercial sinks, there is a big kitchen table, 2 sitting areas, a library/tv room. There are 2 bathrooms each containing 2 private stall toilets and 2 shower stalls so there are 4 toilets and 4 showers all together. They are set up as his/hers but you can use them any way you wish. The bedrooms are small but the lodge itself is big. A large front deck has rocking chairs, a big cedar picnic table, a bbq grill and the deck in the back has covered area with hammock and open areas with a ping pong table. We are a short 5-minute walk to the Pines Village store, Marina bar and grill, (outside on the water With live bands ) Ducey’s, Bass lake water sport rentals. Falls beach where stream enters the lake is 10 minute walk and is also the beginning of hiking trail that follows the stream up the mountain. 5 and up is our preferred age for safety reasons (back up to national forest) unless arranged with owner.
People love the cabin and we hope you do to!
