Unique, Authentic, 1940’s rustic log lodge in Bass Lake. Tucked up a hill above the lake that you can see through the trees. A sweet place to hang out at end of your Yosemite or lake day. Rustic logs, big porch with rocking chairs, gas fire table, big cedar dining table hammocks, bbq,, easy walk to pines village, marina, Duceys. People love it and we hope you stay with us and love it too!

The space
We sit on a hill across from the lake. Our rustic lodge is a true hand-hewn historic log cabin that was built in the 1940’s. We have been renovating it while trying to keep its charm. If you like unique spaces then you will enjoy this awesome cabin!
Perfect space if your traveling with another couple and want to have your own suite that is connected but you can shut the door to main cabin and get some alone time if needed!
There are 2 sections to the space. The main open concept area has a large kitchen with 2 stoves/ovens, a commercial sink set up but NO DISHWASHER OR GARBAGE DISPOSAL, a living area with a big dining table, a stone hearth with couches, a small bedroom with queen bed is off living area and a library with a futon couch and large tv on a rolling stand. This was designed for groups so their are 2 separate bathrooms each one with 2 shower stalls, 2 toilets and 2 sinks. Yep 4 showers plus the bathroom in the suite. There is a deck off the front that has a bbq grill, a big wood table, rocking chair.

The second part of the space takes you through a door by library and into a suite that has a living area with a futon couch, a tv, a small bedroom with a queen bed and another bathroom. It has french doors that walk out onto a deck with a rocking chair, hammock and a gas fire table.

There is a area in front of cabin that has a log swing. We are a short 5-minute walk to the Pines Village store, Marina bar and grill on the water With live bands, Ducey’s restaurant on the lake, Bass lake water sport rentals.

Falls beach where stream enters the lake is 10-12 minute walk and is also the beginning of hiking trail that follows the stream up the mountain.
People love the cabin and we hope you do to!

The cabin is on property that is used for adventure program in summer months. Other people live on property. Fences separate and Everyone keeps their privacy. Shared Laundry on side of cabin.
Back of cabin is closed for now as we are adding a separate in law suite. (no noise while your here!)

5 and up is our preferred age for safety reasons- back up to national forest, no fenced yard, concrete floors and no child proofing.

Where you’ll be

Bass Lake, California, United States

Our cabin is off the road Up a hill across from lake which you can see filtered through trees. We are within walking distance (5minutes) from the Pines Village, Duceys restaurant, village store, post office. We are across the street from the lake. Falls Beach access to lake and creek is a 10 minute walk or short drive. Boats; canoe, paddle board, kayak, jet ski rentals are all available in front of Ducey's on the dock. In summer months there are live bands playing on the green at Ducey's and at Marina Grill. Falls beach is where the creek enters the lake and is also is the starting point for hiking. Swimming holes when water goes down and it's safe are to be found up and down the creek.
The hiking trail takes you to high road, you cross over near the bridge and trails continue alongside both sides of the creek. You will have to hunt a bit for the trails but its a adventure!
